“A good few of my bulbs very dried up and crispy looking compared to the other ones maybe they will come don’t know!! First time I have used this company delivery slightly longer but arrived perfectly packaged.”

“3 x Dahlia 'Bishop of Dover' corms well packaged and received as expected earlier this week. Disappointed as one corm looks very healthy, ie 3 large tubers. Other two corms have several very small tubers each. Have planted in pots to start them off. I'll wait and see how they develop.”

“I can’t comment on the quality of the bulbs, as they only came last week. But I would have liked the height of the plant included on the bag - how else to know where to plant them? Amount of sun is included, why not height of finished plant?”

“I was very disappointed at the size of my bulbs. I found the size description misleading. When selling non standard bulbs the size guide should be more transparent.”

“Interesting and unusual bulbs, though not cheap. Delivery of one order took quite a while, no info about this. When it arrived, out of the three lily bulbs I'd ordered, one was rotten. Let's see what comes up.”

“Although not yet planted most of the deliveries look OK- reasonable size and sound. However, the Bearded Iris Red Zinger was very small and looked quite 'sad'! It'll more than a year before it's likely to flower and I'll be able to comment fully I await the final appearance with interest.r”

“The bulbs Ferraria Crispa, a gift from my daughter, arrived no thanks to Hermes delveries, who said they had delivered them to a neighbour giving the house no: 20. I live at No:30. We eventually found they had been delivered to No:32, right next door! There are no planting instructions with the bulbs so it would be useful to know when to plant, soil type and and are they indoor, cool house or outdoor ground growing plants.”

“Although communication was very good, their service was slow. I paid more for shipping than the item was worth. My item looked nothing like the photo on their advertisement and as there was no size guide, I was disappointed by how tiny the plant actually is. I was told to place the plant in water as it would expand, of course I already knew this, however, the plant is still tiny even though it has been placed in water.”

“All bulbs were in healthy condition apart from the Bearded Iris Royal Satin which looked like it had grey bits in the root of it and was soft and flaky. I have given it the benefit of the doubt and planted it to see if it grows.”

“Ordering process good but upon delivery it had the bulbs but no instructions with the plants as to planting instructions , I ordered 200 gbp worth of different bulbs and I am going to have to look up each plant to see what it needs or sun, shade, part shade , soil preference etc This was disappointing.”

“My box of corms was broken at the top and only three quarters full. It had obviously been opened. Sadly, until I can find my order, I can't tell which ones are missing. The delivery lady said it was like that when she got given it! Thank you anyway. George.”
