I had 2 orders, the second of geraniums and kniphofia were good plants. The first order was poor. The achillea and agastache were in little pieces. I complained and you immediately sent replacements. This time the achillea were somewhat better but again the agastache were broken into small pieces and ended up on the compost heap.Maybe this may be due to the post. I am unlikely to buy bare root plants again.

Problem with one of the plants. Emailed to sat. Was told would reply 24/48 hours later. Wrote again after that. Still nothing except this asking my opinion! Shame because I've been please up til now....

I ordered dahlia bulbs. One set were broken on the stem. I was sent another - exactly the same problem where the stem was severed because the dahlia was jammed into a packet which was too small. I’m very unhappy as these are not inexpensive plants.

To be honest the quality of the Dahlia tubers were modest. The packaging was simply too tight and many tubers were broken in their separate bags and squeezed into the box causing further breaking of eye off tubers. Small roots on the tubers were not removed and small tubers on the existing ones should have been removed. Many tubers were far too dry esp Franz Klamer....wizened in fact!! Only due to my tlc and warm propagate could I get fragments of attached tuber to grow. So overall a disappointing standard and I will not be using the company again Alan C Bagguley.

I have photos - the "plants" came to me as roots with completely white stems and almost white leaves. I may be able to save them, it looked like they had been away from light for several weeks.

Normally I would I given Farmer Gracy 5 stars, but I’ve had a number of problems recently. One issue, the length of time it took for an order to be dispatched, I have reached out to them about, but have not received a satisfactory response to date. The other 2 issues are about quality of bulbs, which I haven’t contacted them about, but will do so after writing this review.

Farmer Gracy prompted me to write a review ... I purchased 6x Agapanthus, 10 x Perovskia, 10x Astrantia and a dahlia bulb. The Agapanthus arrived badly root damaged very few buds not XXL (refunded), the Perovskia arrived with mildew and are showing no sign of coming to life (refunded), 4 of the 10 Astrantia plants are not viable (awaiting replacements). No idea if the dahlia will grow or not but looks OK. I was trying to save money, but by the time I'd purchased the compost etc. there wasn't really a saving. An unfortunate experience, but FG staff were quick to respond and helpful. Think I support British growers and buy from local garden centres in future.

bought hardy geraniums, which came with very long root stocks, much deeper than any pot I have, and no instructions about whether they needed to be buried up to the top of the root stock (my expectation) or if it was ok to leave a space between the root stock and the earth (ie shoulders high, like you plant nerines). or if it was ok to cut the root stocks. with some, was hard to tell which way up they should go. or sideways. who knew?

Quality of a lot of the bulbs was poor although all planted would be surprised if they all come up have before brought cheaper and better.My second order from you was in be there condition although when delivered the box was all ripped open the Delivery People. Had put in my porch with the form but underneath I won't be buying again from you
