“I have had several orders from Farmer Gracy and each time I have been pleased with my orders. The quality of the plants and bulbs have been excellent. They always come well packed and with good advice on planting and care. It would be helpful to give an approximate delivery timescale when looking at items on the website prior to ordering and confirming that on the order confirmation. I am looking forward to seeing my new plants and bulbs growing and flowering this spring and summer.”

“My order arrived at the promised time, in a very sturdy box and all bulbs/bare roots seemed to be in good condition. The only slight problem was that the compost seemed very dry and I had to give the roots a good soak. In fairness, the instructions advised this anyway, but they looked as if they might have been too dry. Won’t be able to tell until they start showing shoots 🤞.”

Hello, The compost in the bag will be dry to prevent too much condensation which can rot the plant. It's there to help keep the plants fresh and protected in transit, you have done the right thing in soaking your bare roots on arrival, or potting up and watering straight away. “Ordered bare root geraniums. They arrived healthy, safe in their box. I have since planted them in pots waiting for warmer weather. One is shooting already. Ordered more and are awaiting their arrival.”

“The bare root perennials arrived in good condition. Many of them had started to shoot and the roots were of a good size. One out of the 69 plants purchased was very small without shoots and if it doesn't grow I will be in touch. Previous orders have had plant labels included but not so this time. They would have been useful with such a large order, I understand the need to reduce plastic use but perhaps it could be an option to select at purchase. Very happy overall with the quality of the plants, can't wait to see them in the garden, currently growing on in pots.”

“Its the first time I have purchased from Farmer Gracy and the quality of the Dahlia tubers and plants I received looks good. The tubers where a decent size and the plants well protected. The final proof will come in the next couple of months as they all start to grow, but for now I'm pleased.”

“At this time of year I always look forward to receiving Farmer Grace's box of goody's. But, to my disappointment this year a couple of your Chasmanthe 'Saturus' corms were just hollow husks. However, I look forward to the remaining making a good show”

“I ordered Hosta shoots. The delivery arrived as expected, well packaged and labelled. They have a good strong root system and a single shoot. Now all potted up in a mix of the compost they arrived in (good quantity btw) and fresh, I am now waiting for them to develop. A good start as far as I am concerned.”

“Bare Root plants arrived in good time, were squashed into a slightly small box for the amount of plants but hope that shots that were broken off will recover over time. Good planting instructions. I have them potted up as advised and under cover at present. So a happy gardener here.”
