All the plants arrived in 'tip top' condition; I have planted them up and they seem to be flourishing. Thank you Farmer Gracy for your excellent plants/bulbs etc.. and efficient service.

The anemone corms were as expected and have been planted, so we will see how good they are. I bought 25 hollyhock bare roots which honestly, left a lot to be desired. I had the same issue with Rudbeckia last year, none of which survived nor came through this year. I thought I would give Gracy another go but I will never purchase again. I was able to buy hollyhock plants (6-8inch plants) (not bare roots) in 3 inch pots from ASDA. These were 3 for £5 and of superior quality and full plants. I will stick with ASDA next year. Sorry Gracy.....not up to scratch.

Though the variety and prices are compatible at Farmer Gracy, the quality especially of the dahlia tubers is not great. I ordered some last year and some were so broken that they did not sprout and the rest were quite weak and only a couple produced flowers. I decided to give them another chance this year and again a few of the tubers were so damaged that they did not sprout. The customer service however is very friendly and I got replacements for some of the tubers that were still in stock, we'll see if those are viable. Next year I'll try to find another source of better quality tubers.

Hello, Thank you for your review. Dahlia tubers can be quite fragile and during harvest they can suffer light damage. Bent tubers which appear cracked where they join the neck are common and this won't usually have an impact on the performance of the plant. We recommend that they are potted and kept in frost free conditions until they have some established growth. Latest bulb I bought appears to be hollow and I don't hold out much hope of it materialising into anything which will be a big disappointment after spending £9 on it.

Had no idea which way the plants had to be planted and there were no obvious clues from shoots. Just a big solid block of something Could have planted them upside down back to front, have no idea

Delivery etc is good. Well packaged plants. I am waiting for a reply to two emails regarding two different deliveries - one only yesterday which I don’t expect a reply to this quickly. The first query I had was about a very sad looking Hosta, my question being “why does it look like this?” I sent this about five days ago and am yet to receive a reply. Reason for 3 stars. Jennie
