i ordered some bare root Astrantia and Sanguisorba plants and they all arrived labelled and alive Just planted up so hopefully they will do well The package however that they arrived in had been badly damaged and taped together which i am guessing happened in transit with Evrie . I wasn't very impressed with this but the plants didnt seem to suffer

The plants were well packaged and 75 o/o were showing shoots. 2 hostas and 1 agapanthus looked completely dead. The information that came with them didn’t indicate if this was normal, so I have planted them in the hope they spring back to life !!!

Despite having delivered two boxes of plants to our new address in Abingdon the one delivered yesterday was delivered to our old address. Please ensure you only deliver to our new address 162 Wootton Road, Abingdon OX14 1JZ. I now have to collect it a journey of 12 miles.

I bought some geums and they are all bare root. A few looked very strong. Others looked okay but a couple maybe 3 roots were very small with no sign of life and were the same variety, which I can't recall now! I potted them the day they arrived and will inspect them again tomorrow, hopefully, the ones that didn't look great will have some signs of growth.

Ordered 3 bulbs, 2 of which came and appear to be good quality. The 3rd was really broken and falling apart.

I was somewhat happy. Plants took quite a long time to arrive and were ousted over a bank holiday so spent longer in transit than necessary. Some bare roots arrived broken. I have planted and am hoping they will reshoot as they were not cheap. Some seem ok and I hope the roots look healthy so they will perk up

Ordered quite a few things most of them looked really good - but one of the Dahlias was really shrivelled up (Edge of Joy) so not sure if that'll come up at all. And one of the bare root bags with verbena bonariensis was just full of compost - no root/plant at all. The rest looked all good, hope they will all come up nicely.

I am happy with my bulbs and tubers but the plants i ordered are very disappointing. One was dead and although it was replaced, it is tiny and will not grow enough this summer to be a hosta plant. With hindsight i should of gone to the local garden centre

I placed my order on March 17th. I was notified that the products had been shipped on April 1st and that I should have them in early April. The shipment did not arrive until March 17th. The dahlia tubers were dry and several tubers had pieces falling off. I have been satisfied with previous deliveries, but I will not order dahlias from Farmer Gracy in the future.

Marie-Caroline is rather happy with her pavot bulbs except for 3 of them: - 2 bulbs have no lieves at all and look totally hopeless (photos 1 and 2 ) - 1 plant has nothing but a piece of root... (photo 3) I think the order has not been properly checked . I hope you will be able to bring a solution to the problem. Looking forwards to your answer Danielle Nosjean

Ordering was simple and easy and the choice is fabulous and prices are great My bare rooted geraniums came as described and were packaged well except the box was a bit squashed but plants were fine. Only one so far has started to grow well from the tiny leaves it had but the other is yet to shoot and it’s been over a week now since potted on -I have just made another order so fingers crossed these plants will be 👍🏻

Okay, but I'm not sure all 6 dahlias will survive and one of the 3 bare root gaura looked lifeless😐

Hello, We're sorry to hear that there are concerns that these will grow as expected. Dahlia tubers can be quite fragile and during harvest they can suffer light damage. Bent tubers which appear cracked where they join the neck are common and this won't usually have an impact on the performance of the plant. I have made a few purchases. I can not understand why it takes so very long to deliver the order Also 1 out of 3 plants has not shown any sign of life in one if the orders.. can I ask for another plant ? I would really like to leave a more positive review. Frances

Fab website with wonderful selection. Bulbs arrived in good condition but salvia hot lips was already dead. Delivery took 3 weeks.

Unfortunately one of the 2 varieties I’d chosen was not available, & a refund was given without the opportunity to replace. This was a gift & so felt a little stingey from me. Also DPD didn’t leave the parcel at the correct address, so a bit of a run around to chase the parcel down.

I baught some roots of gingers , soaked them overnight and the looked good will be growing them on in pots.
