Received my bulbs but too early to plant out. Fingers crossed I can get them to grow

Arrived very well packed and look like nice healthy bulbs. I can’t give 5 stars just yet because I have only just planted them but hopefully will return with a 5 star review.

Dahlia tubers arrived in good time, nicely packaged and looked healthy enough. Will have to wait a few months before I know if they flower ok.

I was pleased with my first couple of deliveries, and am eagerly awaiting the development of my autumn planting which are now shooting. Spring planting from my delivery last week is underway for summer colour. Always delivered on time and well packaged at a fair price for the quality. Only one problem - I need more compost !

Received my bare root saponaria ocymoides a few days ago,I was surprised how small they are. I planted them out today in grow on pots but I am a bit confused as some of the roots look as though they have been grown horizontally?? And not vertically Can anybody confirm this is the case. Made them very difficult to pot up. If this is the case it would be helpful to advise in your planting guide. As I am very new to gardening I need all the help and information I can get.

Hello, Thank you for your review. Bare root plants are dormant and do not usually have much or any top growth when supplied, which can be the reason they seem small. However, if you have a concern about their size, please send a photo of the plants to customercare@farmergracy.com and we will be haappy to check them for you. You should plant with the roots facing downwards and the shoot, which has sprouted at a right angle, will straighten up after a few days of being exposed to daylight. Those that have come up show the roots to be well developed and virtually garden ready. A couple of packs had roots which don’t look viable they were so small. This was particularly true of Paprikash. I happy with 95% of them and holding my breath for the others
