I was instantly attracted to the Carnegie Titanium colors and design. However, the user experience is marred by appalling accuracy (2 min/day), unpleasant winding, and a strap that is shorter than standard. I have ordered an XL strap, but I am not sure that will save this pretty face from oblivion.

Hi Martin, Thank you for your review, sorry to read that its not a positive experience. However we dispatch the Chronograph Sport models at plus 4-8 seconds per 24 hours, each watch is double checked just prior to dispatch. Therefore we would almost certainly say your Carnegie is magnetised and will need demagnetising as soon as you can to reverse the very advanced gain in timekeeping . After demagnetisation the Carnegie will return to its expected timekeeping accuracy range. Kind regards Farer Watch Co

I just bought the aqamatic freshwater watch, very pleased with my purchase, beautiful and love the colours not just with this one, will definitely look at other watches in under the brand , the only thing i would say is i would have preferred a steel Clam clasp bracelet,so will buy one as an extra. Overall very pleased

Been wearing my super compressor for a few days now. Pretty impressed with the overall build quality, level of lume and the action of the crown and the internal bezel. I've read some reviews saying how these internal bezels can be less than great in their action, this one's silky smooth. I own a 2016 omega '57 and around 6 watches of similar price as this Farer. I'm always impressed how much better the feel is of these circa £1k watches are to adjust. This possibly says more about omega's build quality, but it takes nothing away from this watch, just a nice thing to set in it's own right. I'm currently using the bracelet option I also purchased, it's a good look, but I'm probably steering towards the rubber strap as my preference. Dealing with Farer all went well, zero issues with spot on delivery on the date stated. Nice little touch with the hand written thank you card. Ironically, it was Farer's use of colour that drew me to them. So this possibly won't be the only purchase I make from Farer, still see a space for some of that colour in my collection.

Love this watch, I had my eye on the endeavour since the 1st one and kicked myself for not buying it, the Mark 2 is fantastic. Fits really well, and is very comfy due to its lightweight and wears I feel slightly smaller than the 41mm. Wanted to buy the titanium bracelet but was out of stock. Will buy one but would love to see them add an on the fly quick adjustment to the bracelet.

My Endeavour is a birthday present for next month so I’ve not been allowed to wear it yet… But I’ve looked longingly at it in the box and am immensely excited to put it on. Service was brilliant from Farer and the watch looks like a thing of beauty in the flesh. I mean titanium. Will update this review after I’ve had a chance to live with it for a while. Did I mention that I am excited?

Just taken delivery of my Palmer GMT. I am surprised positively about this release as it's a little more subtle than my other Farer watches . Great quality, great legibility.

Farer Bernina titanium- I almost purchased the stainless steel last year but bottled it at checkout. The colours are beautifully done and the watch not overly large, just super. When the titanium was issued I was straight on it, this would have been five stars but for two things: I didn’t get the number on the watch I input when ordering - I requested number 1, if not available I would have chosen 38- so slight disappointment there. I realise many people would want number 01 but thought if it’s not available it would shown as such. The strap seems a bit stiff, perhaps it’s too soon but other watch’s have had more compliant straps out of the box

I love my new discovery red. The only thing I am a little disappointed with is the engraving of my name on the back. It is very difficult to see. Otherwise very happy. Hopefully, I'll be buying a Lethbridge or a mansfield next

It's often said in the world of motorcycles (I'm a lifelong biker - VFR) that if you don't turn to admire it when you park, you bought the wrong one. That also applies to the Farer Aquamatic Biarritz - I'll read the time then look at it again!

First impressions are that I'm impressed. My watch order (Resolute 36mm) was swiftly despatched by next day delivery. The watch looks great, indeed better in person and on the wrist as any of the promotional or review images. The attention to detail and quality is readily apparent. I'm looking forward to it giving many years enjoyable service, if that proves true this presents very, very good value.

Very happy with my new Durham watch and the lightning fast delivery. The copper and grey dial is superb and I am already contemplating my next Farer purchase......there are some other really tempting watches in the range.

Having explored the Farer collection online, there were several watches that I was interested in. With their releases often being short runs or limited editions, some of the designs that I was keen on were unobtainable. However, in my frequent returns to the Farer site, I found the Discovery Red was one watch that spoke to me and was also available. It is compact yet the dial size and large indices give it enough presence to not appear too small (at least for my wrist). I love the rich red along with the contrasting touches of blue. This is one thing that Farer excels at - if you want to experience colour in watches, they are the masters. The brushed circle in the centre of the dial shines in certain light and gives the appearance of a setting sun or some other celestial event. The watch has kept perfect time so far and I have been pleasantly surprised to find it still running after switching to another watch for a couple of days. I have a feeling that this won't be my only Farer purchase.

It was time that I had a Farer. Farer likes vintage design detail and highlights it with colours you may not have seen before - although some of them come from Porsche and Jaguar paint charts from the 1950s. The company motto could be ‘respectful irreverence’, but they’re serious when they talk about ‘the art of the dial’, and their judicious daring never seems to let them down. ‘Farer Universal’ might refer back to Universal Genève, but Farer is modern and fresh. Or post-modern, I guess, and you can argue all day about the merits of that. With this model, the case might be as distinctive as the dial. It’s reminiscent of Laurent Ferrier, but nobody could accuse Farer of being derivative in matters of design. It has evolved from the case of the original Stanhope model, which was a squarish cushion case, but it has become a hybrid of cushion and tonneau. It’s excellent, from every angle. So, it’s green - tea green, the colour of green tea. A bit of a departure for someone like me, who has only recently ventured into blue. Of the models in the range, the Mansfield was the one that seemed to have the dial elements just right, and everything locked into place when I picked the grey strap in the configurator. Farer says the Mansfield is a watch of ‘bold restraint’, which is a nice way of putting it. The case reveals different curves from every angle, the dial is three-dimensional, and I’ve never been so interested in a sub-dial. The colour-matching of the brand name is a nice touch, quietly done. The crystal is curved. It’s a three-part case, with all parts polished, complementing the hands and numerals. That looks like a good choice, but it would be interesting to see it with a satin finish. Laurent Ferrier does it both ways with similar cases, which suggests that there isn’t a right way. But the green… You can’t trust photos, and there was every chance I’d open the box and not like it - but I do. It’s more silky than metallic, and it’s calm. The grey strap probably has a neutralising effect. The two levels of the dial have different finishes, which results in different shades. The size is close to ideal - more presence than vintage, but handily less than 40mm, and not declaring ‘here I am’. In terms of quality, it’s hard to know how there could be more of it, without going to extremes. The gap between relatively affordable and upmarket seems to have vanished. There’s a bit of sparkle, a bit of restraint, and a lusciously cool colour. Good watch - and it makes me feel quite stylish, all of a sudden.

Saw a Farer advert, having recently become interested in watches, looked at the website and ordered the Stanhope II. Received within days, with a lovely hand written note, and it looks even better in person! Not too heavy or too big on the wrist, eye catching design without being too fussy. A great watch for the first time buyer or as part of a collection.

Couldn't be happier with my Farer Maze II. Attractive, unique, design that brings a smile every time I wear the watch, along with quality detail and finishing. Love being able to see the movement working away through the caseback too. I'm sure I'll be adding another Farer to my collection at some point. Thanks Paul for the personal welcome at your showroom. Appreciated having the chance to talk through the options and see watches in person before purchase.
