“As the name suggests Farer takes inspiration from intrepid travels, exploration and adventure, be it by land, sea or air. British designed and made in Switzerland. My Lander IV is named after a British explorer. For a new watch manufacturer to bring something fresh and new to the world of horology is no mean undertaking. Well sized, beautifully crafted and and incredible colour made this one stand out for me. Also has a reliable Swiss movement, waterproof to 100m and a GMT function. Even the lume is excellent and lasts hours! Everything about this brand and watch is refreshing and made with real passion. It clearly shows in their timepieces. Well done”

“The ordering process was straightforward and very speedy even with the watched being engraved. I wanted another dress watch that was smart and simple, the Erebus fits the bill well with a few nice twists to add interest (hands, bronze insert in the crown). Aesthetically the watch is spot on and so far is very comfortable on my wrist (today is it's first full day of wear) I wanted another watch with a swiss movement and appreciated that would cost a little more, in my opinion it was worth the investment, the interest free credit option was also a bonus. Finally, the packaging is very smart and is a change from other watches I have purchased. I look forward to giving my Erebus more wrist time.”

“Early days but this Erebus is for me a watch of plusses and minuses. Studying the watch in the hand, it is magnificent. A beautiful timepiece of high quality manufacture. The finishing is excellent. Sadly for me this does not carry through onto the wrist. The strap is too short and I cannot get the watch to sit comfortably. The biggest problem though is readability. The elements that make the watch so appealing when placed on a flat surface, the materials, the style of the hands and indices, all combine to make reading the time very difficult at least for me. I also find the glass very reflective. I also have to learn to love the red pointer on the second hand. I was so sure I would love this watch, but now.....Like I said. Early days but I have a feeling this is not going to be a keeper.”

“I received my GMT Bezel Charlton Wednesday with custom engraving and both a leather strap and the sport bracelet. The amazing thing is I ordered it the previous Sunday. How they were able to engrave the watch and get it to my door (in the US Pacific Northwest) in four days is incredible. Today is one week since I first set the time/date and wound the watch the recommended 15 turns. I have worn the watch continuously since. Using a UTC time display in the transport aircraft I fly as my reference, the watch has gained 12 seconds in the last 168 hours (7 days) for a 1.7 seconds gain per 24 hour average. It has been precise with a consistent nearly 2 seconds per 24 hour gain. I love the watch, the band and the bracelet (especially the quick release pins). I’m still shaking my head about receiving the engraved watch in four days. Great watch and even better customer service. Cheers! p.s. I’ve received some nice compliments on the watch too!”

“I am bowled over by the quality and design of the 2 Farer watches I recently bought. I’ve purchased the Cobb Monopusher and Resolute ‘3 Hander’. They are both beautifully crafted watches and particularly the detail and colouring on the dials is unique, classy and finished to a high standard. Having had my eye on this brand of watches over the last four or five years, I finally pulled the trigger and I’m not disappointed in fact I bought my second watch within two days of buying my first watch from Farer. It’s not just the dials however, the whole watch is well made and there’s so much attention to detail, they are artistic and quality items, and I’m sure I will be a returning customer based on my experience of the watches and also the fantastic customer service; all enquiries dealt with professionally, speedily, and watch presented with a handwritten note, the whole experience has been a joy.”

“My expectations were pretty high but they were still strongly exceeded by the watch. The lack of compromise on quality is what strikes me most. A pricepoint twice as high would not have shocked me at all. The attention to detail is remarkable, every element is really thought-through, from the watch lover's perspective. The design is superb and unique, at no stage does the watch feel like a wannabe of something else. The execution on the dial, the case, the crown and the movement are brilliant. The only thing that was less to my liking was the leather strap, a bit too thick for me, but I love the rubber one, and the quick release mechanism makes this much less of an issue, let alone the very standard size of 20 mm leaving so many options open from the aftermarket.”

“The strap is impossible to get over your hand without opening the wetsuit extender. It’s quit janglerly in sound and the deployant clasp is sharp which means it catches threads on my clothing. Disappointed really.”

“Ordered a Ponting a few weeks ago. Was really surprised to get it in only a week from the UK, but was thrilled at what I got. The dial is exactly as advertized, gorgeous, spotless and the case finishing is clean and simple. I set it on the day I got it (Jan 10th) and today it sits about 2 minutes behind, so it's about -7 seconds per day which is pretty good. I love the weird color combo, and the detail around the outside of the dial and outlining the numbers is fantastic. The cherry on top is the comfortable and easily interchangeable bands. The orange pops, and I think the navy is just formal enough to let it pass as a dress watch in a pinch. Overall a fantastic watch and I'll likely buy another Farer in the future.”

“What a wonderful watch and purchase experience from start to finish. I purchased this as an 11th Wedding Anniversary present for my husband (steel being the traditional gift in the UK). The box arrived extremely well packaged and with a lovely hand written card inside. The travel case is really nice and the watch is beautifully built. I chose the purple face which matches the colour of one of my husband’s cars (almost black in some light conditions, yet a wonderful purple when the light catches it). I’m pleased that we went for the navy horween strap upgrade (only an extra £5) since the leather, backing and stitching is really beautiful and although stiff at first, should age and become more supple over time. Perhaps a deployant clasp could be a worthwhile option through the website to help straps last even longer. Thank you so much to all involved with Farer, I’m a firm believer that you’ll always sell great product and this truly is one of those cases. Keep up the great work.”

“These are watches to wear, not to keep in collection boxes. Whether you travel, drive, cycle or just take a walk. Exquisite collection of models for every purpose man can wish. The beauty of dial colors bring the life back to where should be when one wants to know the time, and not only. The watches I purchased from FARER (Lander, Pilot) are bringing me a story, a time long past but full of excitement and wonder. Their size is one most appropriate. It is just like a journey back and forth in time. They are highly recommended, their high quality and exquisite presentation makes you feel eager for a journey back to the old time when there were more nature to discover whether on land, air or water. The prices are appropriate comparable to the other market players however these watches give you a sense of something personal and not just being a sterile tool at your wrist. The delivery time is fast and could be traced hour by hour till it gets to your door. A sincere Thank You to FARER's team for bringing back the joy and color to the wrist on these solitary difficult times.”
