Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I took out my insurance with Explorer online and had no contact with anyone. I have never had to make a claim so it is difficult for me to review. Prices are very competitive.”

“The on-line process of purchasing travel insurance was swift. However I have yet to use it and hopefully do not need to, That is when I will know how good the insurance really is.”

“I have used Explorer Travel Insurance recently for a last minute short haul break, and on 2nd March I am using this insurance for a trip to Kenya and Zanzibar. I also used them last year on a trip to India. Very easy to arrange and buy online. Thankfully I have never had reason to make a claim. I would certainly use them again.”

“We have used your company for many years now but thankfully not needed to make a claim Therefore we do no know what your response would be to any claim However your prices are quite competitive so would probably use the company again”

“Easy to get information which covered what I needed. Reasonable cost and quick reply with the documents. I can add more if I need to claim and see the response. I hope I will not need to!!!”

“I would put very good-because you are-but for one niggle. My husband has pre-existing conditions, which are not an issue for you and we have been customers for several years now. However, about a week after taking out a policy, an e-mail arrived in my in box offering 10% off insurance! It made me pretty fed up that the discount had not been offered to me at the time.”
