Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I have found the website fairly easy to navigate and the forms are clear and to the point. The price is very reasonable for all the regular countries. I have not had to make a claim, so I cannot give a true score of their services. Like with all insurance companies, they only come into being once they handle your claim.”

“Medical conditions was a problem. You say all or nothing on the telephone but not when buying online - if I hadn't phoned I would have got it wrong and you say at risk of invalidating the policy. I'm pleased that you have added 'Surgery only' to the dropdown list for skin melanomas. This has been a problem for me in the past.”
