Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I was very dismayed that you appear ageist. Because my husband is now 67 you no longer offer ski insurance. I won’t renew next year. My experience tells me that younger people are more prone to ski accidents not elderly, if you are now cladding 67 as elderly. Very very disappointimg where the work force carry on into their 70,s but we discriminate in this way.. I would love to see the data that leads you to this decision.”

“Luckily I did not need to invoke any of the protection offered to me by the policy, which was great, but leaves me with no clear view on wherever the insurance policy was good or bad !!! I have insured with Explorer many times and only needed help once due to covid. In that instance, I received payment as prescribed, less excess, which was good. I will insure with them again.”
