Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I searched the Internet and came up with this company; I had never heard of them. However, I went the thr online process of submitting details of myself (73) and my wife (75) and declaring all our health issues and I was delighted by both the ease of application and the price of an annual European policy that also included a cruise. All communications with the company have been excellent.”

“Getting my insurance on line with Explorer was very straight forward. The application is easy to follow and took only a short while to complete. We have not been on holiday yet so I cannot comment on making any claims, but again, the information supplied to do this looks easy to follow.”

“Very impressed with the communications with this company. Have a claim going through at present due to illness and everything has been straightforward. Initially i had a problem with the on line claim pro forma, but a phone cal to the help desk connected me with someone in the UK who spoke English that i could understand and everything was resolved quickly. So I would have no reservations in recommending this company and its excellent service.”

“I was looking for a joint (wife and I) annual hoilday cover, but due to my health condition it works out cheaper if we have two seperate polices. Both polices are with Explorer. Thankfully I have not made a claim but I do have peace of mind on holiday.”
