About Explorer Travel Insurance:

Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I received a list of travel agents from MacMillan Cancer. Explorer was third on that list. I started at the top and the first 2 I called wanted so much detail - like lists of every infection & antibiotics I’d taken - even while a patient in ICU!! I ended the calls as I wasn’t going to be able to provide that information. I was feeling disheartened when I called Explorer. I was delighted when I realised the medical questions were not ridiculously intricate & the lady I dealt with was very professional & patient as I took my time answering the questions. I knew my insurance would be more expensive than usual but I was happy with the quote. I was much less stressful than the first 2 places I called. I decided to accept the quote. Perhaps the other companies on the list would’ve been as professional but I was mentally tired by then. I have recommended Explorer to other cancer patients which will hopefully help them avoid extra stress.”
