Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“The service received when setting up my holiday insurance over the internet was easy to follow and manage. whilst on holiday it was not needed, therefore I cant say how it may have been if a claim had to be made. However if the setting up is anything to go by, then I see no reason for problems.”

“Reasonable basic value and ease of purchasing online helped. The cover was good and as an ‘oldie’ felt fairly treated. My only complaint is having to pay an additional administration fee when I made a mistake over the final day of cover. As I noticed my error within a couple of days (and within the policy cooling off period) I felt Explorer could have been more customer focused and waived the extra £15 admin charge.”

“Difficult to rate as didn't need to claim. However did find it odd that a holiday to the same place cost £34 more in January than it did in November with no difference in medical conditions or age.”

“Your site is very easy to complete. Your price is not the cheapest insurance in the market, but it' s a very acceptable one. It' s better to deal with Explorer, than a cheaper unknown insurance. Of course, for my next travel insurance, I' ll have a look also for some other insurances to compare with Explorer, just for a peace of mind. I hope Explorer will still be my choice.”
