Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Fairly easy to purchase a policy but medical declarations a little restrictive for personal scenarios. Can't really score the Company until it becomes necessary to make a claim.”

“I have a medical condition and needed screening. The algorithm for the medical screening is extremely crude. Eg - how many pills do you take for a condition? - have you had any medical procedures in the last year? They don't ask if the medecines work, or if the procedures were successful. They don't ask if the condition is stable. They don't ask or take into account the fact that I have the same medical condition for 30 years, have never called an emergency doctor, and have travelled abroad every year and never made a claim for anything.”
