Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Previous to my last renewal l only had good things to say about explorer. This last renewal l found to be not very good. The renewal letter stated phone to renew or go online, but to go online l would have to fill in the application as if starting all over again. I decided to phone to renew, only to find l had to go through the process as if l was a new customer, this annoyed me as l was having to pay a higher rate phone charge. I could have done it online and it wouldn't have cost to do it. .”

“Seems Ok in an world of worthless cover, It is something that i have to have rather than something I want. I have travelled for 50 years to about 130 countries and had never made a claim until I made a claim for costs connected with a missed flight in Ethiopia. It was rejected only God knows why|||| ... emphiasising the worthless nature of travel insurance. You are all rip off artists to my my mind and don't make any attempt to relate to your customer (victim). Only the travel industry requiring that customers have cover gives you life. Where is your ethical business practice strategy. Hang your heads in shame. Iain Lyon.”

“I have used explorer travel insurance before at platinum level several times i also have medical conditions and found the level of cover along with the premium i had to pay is the best for me and my son . This is excellent cover i use single trip cover to save money”
