Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Glad had this insurance for single trip only cause 'small print' excludes a lot. My claim for baggage lost was declined as insurance doesn't cover returning flight 🙃 god knows why would they make such unique rules. Will not recommend to anyone!”

“Hard to write a review of a product I haven't had to use as yet. I understand why it is important to have insurance but, until you have to make a claim, it is difficult to say whether or not explorer is a good company to have a policy with.”

“Cover looked good--but did not need to use it so ---no problems. Had a minor issue and had to ring you as I could not get it to take payment and after much messing around on laptop, I got it to take payment but did not realise, it had taken expiry date out and replaced by entry date--thus looking like I was returning on same day. I had to ring up, correct and then pay extra and get different policy”
