“As with most insurance these days it is over-priced and gives far too many get-outs for the insurer. One wonders if it is worth bothering with, except that you have to have it, but in general the whole industry has become so risk averse that it is not fit for purpose. well, you did ask!”

“I had to be kept in Hospital for 3 nights and I had to pay a Thai Bill off over £1400 by credit card as the Bangkok Hospital said that Explorer was not on their accredit list. So I had to pay by credit card. I collected all the paper work from the hospital to claim it back. That was now over a month I have sent in my claim form and all relevant paper work by email , I have only a reply saying thank you for your claim , yesterday I sent an email asking for an update but as from today no reply yet . I hope this will get some action”

“We tried to contact you between Christmas and New Year to ask advice as I was suffering from tonsillitis I needed to go to a doctor to get antibiotics but every time I call the number you gave me for emergency calls it rang and rang and nobody answered!!! 😡😡😡”

“I have used this travel insurance company for years now, well before the pandemic. Website is easy to use, easy to apply and always kept up to date. Luckily I have never had to claim or to use it but great to have peace of mind thdt you are covered if needed. Thank you Explorer travel insurance. Mrs Martin.”
