Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I have booked several holiday insurance covers over the past few years, I have it extremely easy to book , especially when some involved medical conditions , and many companies will not cover you if you are over 70, I am intending to book with you again in May.”

“Price looks reasonable as does the cover to include existing medical conditions but the proof of a good insurance company only comes when a claim is made. The questions & form filling very straight forward & easy & the policy appears to be fairly comprehensive.”

“Easy to arrange, seems to cover anything we might need, and looks like good value. Having said that, In 0ver 50 years of taking out Travel Insurance, I have never ever lodged a claim for anything.”

“I have been using Explorer Travel Insurance for a number of years. As I have a medical condition I have found other Insurers very expensive to say the least, but Explorer is by far the most competitive and outstanding value for money, although it seems to have increased a bit this year.”
