Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Excellent service and quick response. I was affected by Hurricane Dorian in Orlando and had flight cancellations and rerdirected flights which meant my travel home was after the final date of my insurance. On calling the Manager at Explorer Travel my insurance was extended immediately without any extra cost and with no hesitation. Very pleaseing and reassuring in such a situation. Thank you”

“Good insurance for pre-existing conditions at a fair price. Been with them 2 years now. Had to phone to get a renewal price at the end of year one and then found it was a new policy with a new policy number and it was cheaper to renew online. As our original policy expired whilst we were on holiday we had to use one policy number for so many days of the holiday and the new policy for the rest. Would have preferred to have just carried on the same policy”

“I didn't need to use my insurance during my holiday. What I don't like are inflated prices due to having a form of cancer. It can only be monitored by blood tests, I'm not on any medication for my cancer but have to pay expensive premiums not just your company but many others. My wife is type1 diabetic, she is more at risk than myself as she could overdose on insulin but pays a cheaper price. Why should i be punished just because I like going to the USA. Thanks David Chambers.”
