“The van was clean and pleasant to drive. The staff were helpful and efficient. Only one gripe. It took too long (about 8 or 9 days) for the deposit to be paid back into our account after the vehicle had been cleared as returned in good order. Bank transfers should take a maximum of 2 working days and everyone knows that holding on to other people's money to gain interest is a cheap trick.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. If you return a vehicle on a weekend it will not be refunded until the next working day. Once we have refunded it, it will take 3-5 working days after the process date to show your account. Unfortunately, this isn't due to us, it is the bank that holds it. “The service was great but at busier times could do with more staff. The vehicle I used comfortable and clean, I only used it fairly locally and it performed adequately. There was some miscommunication as when I booked the van, I organised to use it for 3 days. However, I was phoned on the Monday to be told that it should have been returned the previous day!”

“Had to hire a recovery truck at short notice on a Saturday morning, to recover my sons accident damaged car! Rang at 9 am and was able to pick the truck up by 9.45. Friendly helpful staff! Excellent service will highly recommend. Simon”

“Nice people to deal with. However... The van I hired for a formal business purpose had MOTORWAY MAINTENANCE and yellow and red stripes all over the back of it (I had not expected or been informed of this). The interior was coated with some sort silicone spray, which meant the controls - and importantly the pedals - were extremely slippery and therefore, could have easily caused an incident. Verdict: People good. Vehicle presentation bad.”

“Overall a very successful hire. The only thing I would say is that when I was given the van, the person explained how to tilt the rear section and how to drop the tail and side, but did it so quickly I didn’t take it in. When I returned the van it was explained to me (more slowly) - so now I know for next time.”
