“Hi, ordered a multi-point lock as a replacement for my front door so it had to match and it was spot on so thanks for that. Delivery was quick the only issue was the tube it came in only had one plastic end and tape over the other, unfortunately the plastic end and tape had come off and the lock was no longer secure in the tube. Maybe going forward the lock should have some bubble wrap around each end to stop it from sliding to each end and the tube ends.”

“Very well made product. The use of Admastik on the fitting instructions was a problem, as it is no longer available. I used clear sealant instead after asking Paul Joiner. When I purchased the item, I did not realise I would have to cut about 6mm from the bottom of the door to give sufficient clearance, the necessary 28mm clearance should be made clearer.”

“Good looking product should work quite well, not fitted yet as only received today. Less screws than I anticipated, brief instructions given but no suggested pitch of screws. Is the additional use of adhesive, double sided tape or staples (on wood) recommended to improve retention, don’t know. Swift delivery after order placement which is always appreciated. I’m thinking of backing up the stiffness with the use of thin steel or wooden strip. It would be nice to have a shallow groove within the extrusion to indicate screw centres on the thicker fixing wing.”

“Ordering process and delivery ok. Package was bashed about a bit. Difficult to find and can't yet remove one of the lockpins on the seals. Instructions say to use Admastik adhesive but it is no longer available. Had a hard time finding what I believe to be an equivalent.”

“handles arrived very quickly and I am happy with the purchase. One comment though, the metal bars for the door handles were slightly to 'fat' to fit in my existing door locks and each one had to be filed down to fit. I was ok with this but other customers may not be as forgiving”

“I have Securistyle window locks fitted to my home, which have various mechanical failures so I searched the web for a solution and found Doorfit. I sent an email asking for advice before I purchased, but never received an answer. I took a chance on ordering an updated version of my window locks which arrived quickly, securely packaged and at a reasonable price. After some modifications and window keep repositioning I now have usable windows again. Some advice earlier on would have been helpful.”

“Handles were delivered quickly and were of good condition and considerably cheaper to multiple other sites only 1 issue was that this was bought to replace a broken handle and was hoping for a like for like but found the base plate provided is different I imagine that this is a revamp by the manufacturer but has meant it didn't work for my current set up so am currently in the process of trying to source just the base plates.”
