After making purchase to the value of what I thought was free delivery, I was then faced with an extortionate figure of £30 for a 2 to 4 day delivery. The main item being urgently required for a medical practise I paid the bill. 7 days later I phoned to be told no items had been dispatched!!!!! Give the compnay their due they refunded the delivery charge, for an individual to then take it upon themselves to change the main lock I tem I was desperate for..... ( in fairness I can see their intentions were well meant ) To conclude, company needs to look at better communications with buyers, and to seriously consider stating clearly their justification for delivery charges. Sorry this has turned into a negative experiance for all concerned......................

My order was processed payment was made , I was expecting them the next day , but the items only got posted after I rang asking where they were after 3 days of waiting , they eventually came after 5 days

The website is clunky and often reverts to wrong pages. Whilst my order was acknowledged there was no update on delivery status.

I did ask for a self adhesive no parking sign so I could just stick it to my garage door. Unfortunately I did not receive a self adhesive sign so I am a little disappointed.

The door lock I ordered was discontinued. How come it was on your website if it was discontinued? I was sent another one, but it was too big. However, I did get a full refund.

No complaint about Doorfit as a company - the item was despatched promptly. However, the finish of the machining was poor. Most of the slots in the air grille had burrs, meaning that the sliding action of opening the vent was difficult and stiff.

They supplied and fitted two Garador doors to our garage. Neither door was sprung correctly and both pillars of one door had to be moved to allow proper movement of the door. In addition, the trim that was fitted on either side of the doors to hide the filler between the pillars and the walls failed on one side and was left with a swelling which impeded the door opening.

Dear Michale, I'm sorry the installation does not meet your expectations. As you know, we carried the work out on behalf of another contractor, who was responsible for the garage re-build/repair. Our understanding from communication with the contractor was that the doors would be installed behind the lintel and flush against the back of the pillar. On arrival to site this was found not to be the case, the lintel was set back. This meant that there would be a gap between the back of the brickwork and the face of the door frame. Our installation team filled this gap with expanding foam, we did not however fit the cover strips you referred to, I presume the contractor did this. As part of their sign-off, our installation team email a photo of the completed works to our office. The photo received clearly shows that the cover strips were not installed at this point, I believe we’ve sent you a copy of this. The spring tension issue is something we haven’t previously been made aware of. The springs are factory tensioned, we can however adjust this to the end users’ requirements, I’m happy to instigate this should it still be required. Please let me know. I haven’t received it yet, brought especially from this site to get it before Christmas as I would be away delivery lightly tapped the door I went down to see if it was the door and found a delivery slip, driver sped off didn’t ring bell didn’t wait for me to get Downstairs (it was 9am) now have to wait Another week for delivery

I'm sorry to hear of your experience with our carrier, we have raised the matter with their customer service department but they're unwilling to accept responsibility because they have tried to deliver the consignment. Laminate had started peeling off the doors, very thin laminate. I will not be purchasing or recommending your company i'm afraid

Ordered a door handle expecting it in 5 days or so and it took a phone call to find out they are out of stock.Not sure when I'll receive it

Apologies for the delay with this product, we understand the manufacturer in China was temporarily closed which has caused a number of orders to be delayed. The item supplied was not the same as the one in the website picture & did not fit. Apparently the part is discontinued & a substitute sent, but the substitute part does not have the same hole centres. The website picture should be updated or the part removed. I have had to return the item & am awaiting a refund. The sales department tried to help, but you do not have a part that will fit.

Prompt delivery and well packaged but was extremely disappointed with the product. The vent cover was flimsy, did not open/close with ease and kinked when screwing to wall. Unfortunately, a waste of my money

Dear Annie, I'm sorry to hear that you have not been happy with the service we have provided. I have investigated the matter with my sales team and I understand we have had an issue with the consistancy of finish on these products which was not spotted when the goods were shipped; this has now been identified and addresssed. The sales person who spoke with you today informs me that he has offered to credit the goods in full including the cost of postage however I recognise the frustration you have raised and would be happy to arrange the goods collection if that would help. Lastly regarding the missing address details I can only guess that the invoice was not printed on our usual letter head since our address should be listed at the bottom of each page. The first handle we received was a different size to what was stated on your website. Fortunately your man on the end of my phone call managed to find a handle the right size. I then had to send the first handle back to you at my expense, I recieved a cheque from you which is useless, it was not signed. So now I have more expense to send the cheque back to you or whoever signs cheques.

It appears that some stock was contaminated with other items which looked similar but we have now resolved the issue so that it won't recur.
