We have this on our utility door to keep our children out of the room It looks good and certainly does the job It's easy to use. Would definitely recommend this product

Goods were packaged securely and (eventually) arrived safely. The items in question were oversized, so the P&P was on the hefty side at £20 including VAT for two items that were £26. The main gripe was with the couriers UK Mail - they made an unsuccessful attempt to deliver and left a card. I then re-booked a delivery on-line for two days hence. They did not show, came the day after that and left a second card. In the end, I had to collect the items from their depot. Rather resentful at having to pay £20 carriage for two draught excluders and then have to collect the goods myself.

Dear Malcolm, I'm sorry to learn of the problems you experienced with the courier company. I shall report your experience to our account manager at UK Mail but I apologise on behalf of Doorfit for the inconvenience this has caused. Regarding the oversize rate, I'm afraid UK Mail is one of the few couriers who will deliver large items at relatively low cost. I understand the reason for the higher cost is due to the fact that large items have to be handled manually rather than by their automated conveyor system. easy to order. fast delivery. Bought 4053 152Mm Polished Brass D Handle for an internal door - bolts were a fraction long but was easily cut down to size. Overall very pleased.

Was informed by telephone when the ordered product was not in stock, followed by email confirmation when goods had been dispatched. When items received, realised I'd been "silly" and ordered 2 not realising that was 2 pairs. Spoke to Paul Joiner on the phone who said no problem, that one set could be returned. As live fairly locally asked about taking item in. Visited "shop" last week. After long wait was assured that refund would be sent by cheque. Just waiting for that to arrive now. Dealt with very politely and effectively - as long as the cheque arrives!!!! Thank you.

Ordered a replacement brass cupboard lock for an antique dresser and inadvertantly ordered the wrong size. My only complaint being the descriptions/measurements were less than adequate on the web-page and hence the mistake. Quick phone call and talking to the supervisor (?) couldn't be more helpful. We quickly sorted out the one needed and was popped immediately into the post with no fuss or extra hassle. Can't better the service. Excellent!
