There’s no option to give zero stars unfortunately. We had a problem with our washer dryer. Engineer came out 20/2 but was unable to repair it as he needed to order a part he didn’t have with him. He returned on 27/2 with the replacement sensor but advised my husband that another, different part was also needed to complete the repair, that he would order it and return. After he had left, we discovered there was water in the cupboard under our sink and the box I use for storage had an inch of water in it. This was not there before the engineer’s visit. Our problem is with the dryer, it’s not at all water based. This must have happened when he was moving the machine. He didn’t tell us about the water which means he either didn’t notice what he’d done or didn’t think it was worth mentioning it. Neither of these are reassuring. We wouldn’t have expected him to clean it up, but it would have been nice to have been warned because then we might not have had to throw away some of the items in the cupboard that were ruined as a result of them sitting in water for a couple of hours. I was then very surprised to get an email and a text Friday afternoon congratulating me on a successful repair to my machine. I was even more surprised when I logged on to the website to read that according to Domex my machine was unrepairable and that the matter had been passed elsewhere. I have subsequently been unable to get hold of anyone from Domex to find out exactly what is going on. Prior to the visit on the 27/2, I couldn’t dry clothes but I could at least wash them. Now the machine is unusable. An error message appears when I turn it on and I can’t use it at all. As anyone with a family will appreciate, this is a big problem. I was unable to get hold of anyone from Domex despite calling, requesting a callback and sending a message. I posted this review on Trustpilot and promptly received two calls, which I missed because I was at work and a message asking me to call back. I’m still unable to actually speak to anyone from the company despite trying all day and again requested a callback which hasn’t happened. At least the vague corporate apology written on Trustpilot did confirm that my machine is unusable, which I suppose was something. Very unimpressed with communication and service and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Following the engineer’s visit, it was identified that an additional part was required to complete the repair. Unfortunately, this part was unavailable at the time and, as a result, the appliance had to be written off. In these circumstances, the claim is passed to the insurance company, who will contact you directly to explain the next steps and the options available to you. We also apologise for the confusion caused by the automated messages you received and for the difficulty you experienced when trying to contact us. This is certainly not the level of communication we aim to provide. Your feedback regarding the engineer’s visit and the water found under the sink has been noted and will be reviewed internally. Don’t ever use these people ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I booked a second repair for the exact same fault they didn’t fix the first time they confirmed by email and text that the engineer would be there from 14:00 to 18:00 I get a phone call 12:00 on the day from the engineer saying he was 15 minutes away. I informed him that my appointment had been confirmed for 14:00 to 18:00 he then said “in that case I won’t be turning up “ and put the phone down I sent messages to customer service NO REPLY I sent text messages NO RESPONSE I called the help line only to be told I would have reschedule my appointment as they had cancelled because they NOT ME had changed the time of the appointment So I get penalised because their engineer finishes his previous job early a can’t be arsed to wait I took the afternoon off for this repair appointment Worst customer service I have ever experienced ABSOLUTELY APPALLED BY THE LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE BE WARNED

Terrible company - expensive call out, diagnostic and repair fee. Only took 10 secs to repair and cost £100’s of pounds. Use a local repairer who don’t charge a call-out fee. My engineer agreed to only charge call-out as wasn’t a diagnosis /repair but Domex have been chasing me for weeks. Nightmare company. Best avoided.

While the repair was completed quickly, our pricing reflects the engineer’s expertise and the successful resolution of the fault, not the length of time spent on site. After waiting in all day for an engineer to attend for my oven repair i had zero communication from Domex and i had to contact Beko directly where i was informed THEY cancelled my appointment the day before and could not give me a appointment till the following week so left me with a diabetic pregnant partner a 4 year old and no oven
