“Still not received my order , 1 month late & still waiting for delivery of my stove the stock position is inaccurate which is only made clear once you have paid, feel mislead & the poor communication hasnt helped, buyer beware !”

Hi, Thanks for your review. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and that we didn’t meet the level of service that we aim for at Direct Stoves. Looking at your order, we can see that this was placed over the phone with a sales representative and that we advised at the time that we were expecting stock in mid February. We appreciate that we then experienced some issues in terms of receipt of stock for this particular model, which meant a delay to the lead time. “Simple to order and the delivery came on the date specified by me.. yet to be fitted but we are very happy with the stove.”

“Impressive customer service i.e. extremely helpful conversation over the phone where my order for a multifuel stove was sorted out as I was unable to complete my order online. The delivery was conducted and carried out effortlessly. My stove hasn't been installed as yet as I'm experiencing some installer-related issues. I will complete my full review when I'm warm and toasty.”

“The order was swiftly dispatched and arrived securely strapped to a pallet. One of the vermiculite panels inside the stove was damaged. The team at Direct stoves quickly got onto the manufacturer and a replacement was sent directly to my address. I also found the stove cheaper online and they gave me a refund for the difference.”

“Very pleased with service. Arrived very quickly. Also I had asked for a price match on 21st February. Had email to say this has been done. Although still awaiting refund. I know this takes a while to process. I'm extremely please with my fire. Many thanks.”

Hi Carol, Thanks for your review. We're very pleased to hear that you're happy with the service provided and that the delivery arrived quickly. We can see that our sales team had agreed to process a small discount against your order as a gesture of goodwill, and that this was issued on the 21st February. Refund times from there are ultimately dependent upon the account provider (i.e. the issuing bank) and so beyond our control. “We were very pleased with our multi fuel burner. The quality is excellent and the delivery was exactly as you said it would be. We haven't tested it yet as the fitter can't do it until May. If you want to get back in touch when it's up and running we would be very happy to review it again, but we're sure by the standard of the build and having had wood burners in the past, that it will be good.”

“The logs arrived on time as arranged. I have been using them for over a week now and they are excellent. Light well, burn well and produce plenty of heat. First time using pine but as these are properly dried they burn really well.”
