“This company offers excellent customer care - we couldn't have asked for a better service. The staff who dealt with our initial enquiries and our order were friendly and extremely efficient and the after-sales service provided by Anthony when we encountered a slight problem with one of the products was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this company to others and use them again.”

“The order process was great and they let you pick a delivery date which b&q didn't so glad I went with them. Only snag was they don't bring the item into your house but leave it outside on a pallet and it's delivered in pieces not assebled. Luckily I have a partner and between us we were able to carry the pieces in and he's pretty handy so will be able to put together. Other than that v pleased with it! Hope its going to look nice when installed.”

“We had excellent service from Direct Fireplaces and would have no hesitation in recommending them, unfortunately we couldn’t say the same for the supplier of the fire we ordered. Having had problems with the quality of the product we ordered Celsi Electriflame Volare 1100 the manufacturer was completely unhelpful. Without Nick at Direct Fireplaces sorting out the problems, we would have been left very very dissatisfied.”

“Was given incorrect information when I rang to ask if surround was flush-fitting, it wasn't it had a rebate. The size of the fireplace hearth was stated as 50mm thick it wasn't it was 68 mm thick. this caused delays in fitting.”

“This is the 2nd fireplace I have purchased from Direct fireplaces, the 1st one I had to leave when I moved house. Both times I’ve been extremely happy with the products. I did have to wait a long time for delivery of my latest one, because of shipping issues ( caused by everything currently going on in the world) but the friendly, helpful staff always kept me updated and assisted me with my enquiries.”

“Terrible company, awful customer service. I bought a £3000 BBQ/Woodburner weighing 50kg which they wanted to dump on the side of the road and told my wife it was her responsibility to move it. They are only interested in taking the money and have no interest in customer service. Avoid at all costs”

Hi Jon thank you for taking the time to review and we are sorry you feel we have not lived up to your expectations on this occasion. As per our confirmation emails and our delivery page, our standard delivery service is a one-man service and the driver will bring the goods which arrive on a pallet to the closest point that they can safely wheel a pallet truck. The driver had reported when he returned to the depot that due to a tree on your drive he was restricted with where he could position his van and subsequently could only leave the goods at the kerbside. We do recommend our two man delivery service if you need assistance with bringing the goods into your house. Regards, The Direct Fireplaces Team
