Excellent packaging! Fire installed with no difficulty in standard fireplace reveal. Flame effect excellent, relatively low cost to run at 750W setting. Used to top up the heating in the living room now that we have turned the central heating down (or will do later in autumn when we switch the heating back on again). Remote shows some delay in response but this is not a real issue. We have no chimney but previously had an inset gas fire with balanced flue, flue blocked up and rear of inset insulated. Fire with flame effect on only uses 18 watts (max flame) 10 watts (min flame), 1 watt standby.
