We purchased a remote control, coal effect gas fire in March 2024. We had a disagreement over the delivery and installation date but this was resolved to our satisfaction. The fire is working perfectly and we are absolutely delighted with it.

Lack of communication was an issue for me!!! It was several weeks after paying for my new fire that. It was fitted. The lady who sold me the fire was great, the man who fitted the fire couldn't have been nicer!!!! But not knowing when the fire would be delivered and then waiting for fitting was not great. Sorry!!!!!

We had a gas fueled log burner fitted at the end of February. Just one hiccup, there was a delay on fitting as the grate had been broken on delivery to Direct Fireplaces so we had to wait a couple of weeks for the replacement. Aside from that the fitters were very polite & tidy & the result is perfect. We would reccomend this company. Would have been 5 stars but for the unfortunate delay.

Unfortunately, not all of our suppliers issue printed instructions for stone fireplaces, with the understanding that fitting via a professional installer is usually recommended. Good product but did not receive any message that it had been delivered by courier,it had just been left on our doorstep. We were out at the time because there had been no notification that it was to be delivered.

Sales , ordering and delivery as promised went perfectly however there was no user manual within the packaging of our new forest fire , we were promised a copy by post which to date has not materialized ?

My builder fitted the Celsius flamenco enchant wall mounted fire yesterday. I’ve not used it yet, but on first impression it looks really nice. Good size, bevelled front, different coloured flames. It arrived quite quickly. Pleased so far.

Hi Albert, Thanks for your review. It's great to hear that there were no problems with the delivery. As per the manufacturer's installation and user manual for this particular fire: "In the event of malfunction contact the manufacturer, do not try to repair the heater yourself as this may result in a fire hazard or electric shock". A qualified electrician would usually be able to access the internal components of the hole-in-the-wall electric fire once installed through the front of the unit. Beautiful fireplace. Really finished off the room. Easy to assemble but did not come with brackets to attach it to the wall.

The fire now installed is just what we wanted and produces enough heat for our room. We are delighted with the appearance and performance of the inset fireplace. I was disappointed at the delivery time, which was stated on the web page as 3-5 days, actually was 13 days and with no explanation it came in two packages on different days. The fire being replaced had ceased to function so the delay was most inconvenient.

Very pleased with their speedy delivery of our fire, which is proving to be very efficient. The quality is very good but have found the coals extremely difficult to fit in. The diagram in the instructions isn’t clear enough.

These do have a very specific arrangement required so as not to block the gas burners, so can be a bit fiddly by design.
