“To be honest I was disappointed at how much clay was stuck to the cobbles. The top 50% all need hard washing to get them clean enough for the gabions they are intended for. Many of the lower levels need hand scraping to remove the clay before washing. A lot of time and water wasted. I’m now left with about 20kgs of small broken cobble and clay to dispose of. I do need another bag but I’m v hesitant about reordering.”

“The slate chippings were advertised as max 40mm but many of the chippings delivered were very much larger. Otherwise very pleased with the delivery which was on time and hassle free.”

“Cotswold 14mm chippings were full of smaller bits and fines. There are also ordinary limestone 'road' chippings mixed in. I first purchased 14mm chippings in 2018. They were better quality in those days.”

“The stones were nice but the driver only had a trolly lift so the stones had to be put in the middle of the driveway in the evening, leaving me to barrow them out the way in the rain so we could move the car. Get a HIAB”

“no issues with the product or D, A but the delivery driver was rude to my wife - she struggled to move the car due to having a 7-month-old baby and made her feel bad for holding him up. also dropped them so close to the garage that I struggled to open it.”

“I ordered two 800 kg bags of Flamengo 20mm gravel. The delivery was excellent and the driver was very helpful. However, the gravel was so covered in white sludgy powder it seemed to be the wrong product. Examination proved it to be correct, but covered with a hugely excessive amount of white powder. This product had clearly not been washed. While some dust is inevitable, the photo below shows the amount of sludge separated from one bag by a cursory washing. Once cleaned, the gravel is very satisfactory, but a lot of excess work has been required to achieve this.”

“We had previously bought a supply of stones from a different supplier and these were great but we needed more to arrive on a Saturday and we could pay extra for these to be delivered on a Saturday via decorative aggregates. Website was easy to use and the Saturday delivery came nice and early which was great and seamless. On the whole, the stones were fine, however, we had so many broken ones which could not be used. I am left with 3 buckets of cracked stone and I now need to get rid of. Whilst I managed to get the job completed, in comparison to my first supplier I had zero cracked stones and they went further so not sure I would use them again.”

“Fast home delivery, but unfortunately I am not satisfied with the white gravel.When we received them, they were beautiful white, I was very happy with them.But after three days of rain, the stones are starting to turn yellow and brown.I am attaching the pictures of what it was like when I received it and how it looks now after heavy rain.I have no problem with the company itself, I received the product on time. But I am very disappointed that it didn't even last half a year and the gravel has already discolored.🙈😔😭”

“Product good but delivery very poor. The pallet was left blocking the road 30 metres away from property gate. Driver said he was unwilling to drive under a tree.... the road is regularly accessed by normal sized council bin lorries and multiple commercial vehicles including skip lorries. The bags had to be moved into a car boot and driven into the property in several trips whilst blocking the road to other traffic.”
