To be honest I was disappointed at how much clay was stuck to the cobbles. The top 50% all need hard washing to get them clean enough for the gabions they are intended for. Many of the lower levels need hand scraping to remove the clay before washing. A lot of time and water wasted. I’m now left with about 20kgs of small broken cobble and clay to dispose of. I do need another bag but I’m v hesitant about reordering.
