I finally got some dance shoes that fitted. I am a size 6 normally and have had Katz practice shoes before in this size, however when I ordered a different model I had to go up to a seven and a half in order for it to fit. The shoe sizing for this particular model was no good. In fact the size 6 that was sent to me was more like a four and a half. I'm not sure why there's such a great disparity between the models.

Had quite a few issues with the outfit Firstly it came without the hair assessorie The the strap on the dress came away on the first time wearing requiring to be re stiched Disappointed overall

I am sorry you are not happy with the costume. Please contact hello@dancedirect.com who will help you. We offer a 28 day no quibble returns policy to allow customers time to try on their goods when they have been delivered and return them with a free Royal Mail returns label if they are faulty. The goods are then refunded.

I purchased a dress from you last weekend for my daughter's dance competition. It arrived in good time. However, when I opened the package, I can only describe it as being screwed up in a bag & the dress was full of creases. I contacted you to inform you of this & was advised to try a couple of things to get the creases out. None of which worked. Due to the incompetence of someone in the despatch department, I have now had to buy a professional garment steamer at a considerable cost so my daughter can wear the dress. I'm bitterly disappointed by my 1st experience of using you. I will share my experience with other dance mums so they don't have to go through this experience themselves. I look forward to hearing from you on this matter,although I probably won't hear anything. Sharon D

I am sorry you were not happy with the garment you received. I know you had a lengthy conversation with our Customer Service team and have subsequently sent them an email which one of the team will respond to. All problems are dealt with promptly by one of the team and we pride ourselves on our service in reaching a satisfactory solution to all queries.

Product was fine. Paid extra for next day delivery, parcel took nearly a week to come. When I contacted customer services they pretty much said tough luck. No offer of a refund on postage.

I am sorry you have not received your parcel yet. It was collected from us on the 9th December but unfortunately due to Industrial Action it has not yet been sent out for delivery. I will email the tracking number to you so you can see the status of your parcel.

The leotard I purchased for my daughter is very poor quality and see through. I’m in process of doing a return which is also causing a headache as need printers etc.

Hi Heather, thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the leotard did not meet expectations. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service team who will be able to assist you. When arranging your return, you can select to have Royal Mail collect from your door, and they provide the label so you have no need to print anything yourself.

Thank you for the review. I am sorry that the delivery was not as quick as you expected. We despatched the goods on the same day as you ordered them. It appears that there was a problem with our courier which we will follow up on. Unfortunately the email you sent did not come through to us.

We have since heard from the courier and they have accepted responsibility and refunded the delivery charge. This we have now refunded to you.

Both items were too small, I am still waiting on larger size character shoes and have not been refunded full amount for ballet shoes, I am £4 short and would like this resolved please

Thank you for the review. The shoes have been refunded in full. The difference in the amount was the postage charge which we do not refund as we offer a free returns service so you do not have to pay twice.

I ordered ballet shoes one size too big I thought to be on the safe side but when they arrived they were tiny and you can’t return. I was then advised by my daughters ballet teacher that you need to order two sizes up!

I have had my order arrive, but they have come up so small. I emailed at the weekend to do a return and replace but have had no reply? Not sure what to say dispatch seemed to take a while so if u need stuff quickly would order sooner, however the quality of the item i received is what would put me off ordering again not the dispatch time

It appears that the replacement you requested was more expensive than the return and the Returns Department emailed you for additional payment. I am sorry if you have not received this communication. I will ask Customer Services to contact you again.

Items went missing in post and another item was not stated as being out of stock until after I purchased it and it was supposed to be sent. Replacement was offered at a smaller size which would have been no good for the user.

We try to keep on top of stock issues but occasionally the item is not on the shelf although the system says we have it in stock which can be due to an incorrect pick or a miscounted stock take. We do try to offer suitable replacements but this is not always possible. We hope you will order again and look forward to your continued custom.

The delivery was prompt but all 3 items totally not true to size, at least 2 sizes off so now having to return all. Been put off ordering online for ballet clothes now. Also when ordering tights they were showing as M/L as one of the size options without option to select M vs L - got sent M which was too small for what I needed.
