Extremely long delivery wait. Submitted order Monday 20th for a dance Competition today, costumes still not arrived! Had to run out this morning and go to the hassle of purchasing made do items elsewhere!

I am sorry your order did not arrive last week. I can see however that Royal Mail delivered it today, Monday 27th. If in future you need a very quick delivery please drop us an email and we will do what we can to help.

Products - not bad quality . Customer service very poor. My parcel was delivered to my neighbour. She did not bother to return it to me and opened my bag, probably wanted to keep my order. I emailed this company to be told they were going to do an investigation and find where my parcel was delivered? Where? To my address that was my neighbours' address. What a joke! I assume that the answer would have been: "we have investigated and the parcel was delivered to the address, sorry, goodbye, thank you for ordering from us." I have asked to be given the company's phone number and they omitted this question. I would not recommend this company mainly because if the order is delivered at the wrong address, they will just do an investigation with the post...nothing more. No regrets, no worries, no refunds and hiding their phone number. I understand not your fault for parcel being delivered at the wrong address but your answers could definitely be warmer and more reassuring!

We offer a 28 day no quibble returns policy to allow customers time to try on their goods when they have been delivered and return them with a free Royal Mail returns label if they don't fit. The goods are then refunded. If you want to return it please see the section Returns on the Dance Direct website which will tell you what to do.

The tap shoes I ordered were way too small despite ordering a size bigger than my grand daughter is. I have emailed the company asking for someone to get back to me to let me know how I can return them for a larger size, but 7 days on I have not been contacted - disappointed.

We are doing everything we can to exceed expectations in terms of delivery, and at the moment we are despatching within 3 working days from order placement. It appears that the main problem was you ordered just before the Bank Holiday which added extra time to the despatch date. You should have received a confirmation email once the parcel was despatched with the Tracking Number so you can trace its journey.

The leotard I ordered from you was completely see through so I can’t wear it and dance direct won’t give me a refund for it

The garment you bought is not intended to be worn as a leotard it is a nude undergarment designed to be worn under a leotard or costume and as such is not returnable as per our terms and conditions.

Tutu arrived very crumpled. Sizes even using measurements given were way off - both outfits way too small.

It's fine if your order is right the first time. But a real headache if there are any issues. We ordered a pair of Revolution tap shoes, but got sent the wrong size. Dance Direct sent us the American size instead. So we returned them, hoping to get the right ones in exchange, as our daughter desperately needs them for a show coming up. After leaving it a couple of weeks, we emailed them, got told they couldn't update us, then emailed again a week or so later... got no reply... and have had to keep badgering them... only to eventually be told they don't have the right size in stock! Now we're really struggling to find the right shoes in the short time we have left before her show. It's been a major headache. Absolutely awful customer service.

Thank you for the review. I am sorry you have not been able to get the shoes you require. The manufacturers all work to different sizing standards and we publish their sizing charts to try to help you get the correct size but are aware that this does not guarantee a perfect fit and there is sometimes confusion between the manufacturers sizing and the standard UK sizing. I will pass on the issues you have had with the team to the manager as we pride ourselves on good customer service.

Attention malgré l'annonce faite sur le site il vous faudra payer des droits de douane pour la livraison en France (même si inférieur à 150€); j'ai du payer 15€ supplémentaires pour une paire de pointes qui du coup sont plus chères qu'en France!! Belle arnaque! je décommande vivement

First of all, the product I bought didn't match with my expectatons. "1st Position Chaussures de Jazz Holographiques Colour Silver / Size EU 38.5 - UK 6 - US 8 / Ref JSH-SLV-6" It's a cheap product and impossible to dance with. Then, as I ordered from France Dance Direct asked me to pay 6.90 € to ship the product (ok for this) however they forgot to talk to me about additional extra charges of 13€! That means that I paid around 20€ to be delivered! And it wasn't mentionned during all the order process. I tried to reach the customer support but they told me to pay to get the product or to pay to refuse it ! I totaly discourage to order by this plateform and company.

À partir du 1er janvier 2021, cela inclut également les pays de l'UE. Tous les frais de douane encourus par Dance Direct en raison d'un colis qui n'est pas clairement marqué seront répercutés sur le client et déduits de l'avoir correspondant. Nous fournissons des informations concernant les frais de douane sur notre page principale où vous pouvez aussi lire que "Des taxes & des frais de déboursement peuvent s'appliquer". Toutes les informations complètes ici: https://www.dancedirect.fr/info-ddfr-customers Au moment de passer la commande, une annonce ultérieure apparaît sur la gauche de l’écran: "Si votre adresse de livraison se trouve en dehors du Royaume-Uni, vous devrez peut-être payer des droits et taxes d'importation, qui sont prélevés une fois que l'envoi a atteint votre pays. À partir du 1er janvier 2021, ces droits et taxes s'appliquent également aux pays de l'UE. Vous êtes tenu de payer des frais supplémentaires pour le dédouanement ou les documents additionnels. Le transporteur ne procédera à la livraison tant que les frais douaniers demandés par l'Etat français ne seront pas acquittés.

Toutes les informations concernant les taxes, les droits de douane et autres frais isont disponibles sur notre site : https://www.dancedirect.fr/info-ddfr-customers La France exerce une franchise douanière pour les commandes de marchandises ne dépassant pas 150€ mais ceci n'empêche pas que il peut y avoir des frais a payer notamment les frais de TVA et de déboursement (il s'agit des frais que vous avez eu à payer).

Just gave our daughter her Christmas present - the ballet Barre. We did notice the "re taping", but felt confident it would be ok. But nope, it was a used one, with the pink paint chipped in places. Very very disappointing to say the least by sending us a used or a returned product. We ordered and paid for a new one. Super annoyed 😠

I am sorry you experienced a delay on your delivery. You ordered on a Saturday and the order was processed through our system on the Monday. We are despatching within 3 working days and your order was sent on a 48 hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail which you selected on the Wednesday.

Eingekauft unter 150 Euro, also keine Zollkosten, musste dafür aber 33 Euro für Mehrwertsteuer und Bearbeitungsgebühren hinterher an die Post bezahlen. Vorher nicht deutlich gemeldet. Das ist kein ehrliches Geschäft.

Dezember 2020 haben wir die MwSt bei Bestellung berechnet, und seit diesem Datum müssen Sie diese an die örtliche Zollbehörde sowie alle Gebühren für die Auszahlung zahlen.
