“I had a slightly strange booking request so was therefore unable to complete online. When I contacted Country Break hotels, they couldn't have been more helpful. They promptly emailed the hotel to establish if it was possible to accommodate my request, keeping in contact with me throughout. The booking and payment process was easy and I received confirmation withing minutes. I highly recommend them for anyone wishing to stay in any of their super hotels.”

“First time using this site and seems fairly easy . Only issue I had was on payment it kept coming up with an error a couple of times but eventually worked .”

“The site is pretty simple to use but I do hope that anyone buying gift vouchers realises that if your break cost less than the value of your voucher - then the company won’t allocate unspent funds for extras - like a meal or bottle of wine to use the full value- they simply keep the residual value unless you can book another holiday break within the 12 month period- this is really bad in my view and the company is simply claiming the underspent value- really disappointing and I won’t be using them again and would suggest you very carefully consider the terms and conditions before buying any gift vouchers!!”

Thank you for your feedback and how lovely that you were given a voucher to use to book our hotels in our portfolio, although it is very disappointing to receive 1 star from you. We are a hotel booking agent who also sell monetary vouchers for any chosen amount, which can be redeemed toward booking a hotel break via our website. Hotels will not accept vouchers from an agent for extras, this is advised at the time of booking and also on the voucher you received stating 'Please note your voucher is NOT VALID AT HOTELS. You must make a booking in advance and pay for it using your voucher via our reservations team or websites.' However, any remaining money left on the voucher can be put toward booking another stay at one of our hotels or you can gift it to someone if you wish. The voucher needs to be redeemed before the expiry date on a booking, but the stay date at the hotel can be for any time in the future. Kind regards, Country Hotel Breaks

“A number of hotels listed had no long term availability so a waste of effort. A number of hotels appeared in two different regions. It would have been better to have a map showing hotels rather than select a region and then have to use a map to find out where they were and whether suitable location”

“Ours was a complicated booking with couples looking for different lengths of stay, a disabled person to consider, and from a time zone 13 hours away from the UK. The liaison between Country Hotel Breaks and the actual hotel was quick and efficient and the whole process went smoothly. We're looking forward to our stay.”
