“Left Cornerstone a few months ago after they changed the razor which is significantly inferior to the original razor. The blades did not feel as sharp, did not cut after a couple of days and were extremely difficult to clean - especially with their own gel. I'm only writing this review after they sent me an automated email today inviting me back and suggesting I read the reviews on this site. Negative reviews seem to be met with "contact help@cornerstone.co.uk". I did his on my exit from Cornerstone but they took no notice of me. My gut feeling is the newer product is a "miss" so I'm back to using my Merkur Futur. Will maybe try again in a year or so if the company acts on its customer feedback.”

Hi Mark, I am very sorry to hear about your poor experience using our new razor and that you received no response from the support team. I have checked our records and unfortunately couldn't find any correspondence from yourself. We reply to every single email that is sent in to us and never leave our members' queries/issues unanswered so this is rather puzzling. I would greatly appreciate you emailing us at help@cornerstone.co.uk so one of our team can get some more feedback from you and listen to your concerns. We can also look into switching you back to the original razor if you would prefer. Apologies again for the inconvenience caused.

“Good Products and service however I think Work needs to be done on the blades clogging up to easily during shave and unable to de-clog compared to high street brands this would really improve the quality.”

We did test our new razor on our members who gave us a big thumbs up so I am sorry to hear this Elliot. Our blades were designed with better spacing so it is surprising to hear it has been clogging. Some members have found rinsing after each pass really does help :-)

“Got product very nice ,I used this on my head as I shave my head every two days and to be honest with you I don't know what everyone whinges about . Perfect for head shaving .....well my head anyway . Good product will be ordering again .”

So pleased to hear that you're enjoying the Cornerstone shave, Paddy. Although we don't recommend using our blades for head-shaving, I'm glad to hear that it's working well for you. Just make sure to always take extra care with it, as I'm sure you've realised the blades are very sharp :-)

“Razor is okay. The engraving is a really nice touch, however, the sevice is not as flexible as it appears. I have been trying to stop orders for almost a year. Despite receiving numerous confirmations of my cancellations, I am still being charged. No worth it. Avoid.”

“I’ve been using cornerstone for about six months now. Previously I had been using Gillette which I swore I’d never change. However, after coming across cornerstone by accident I decided to give them a try as they were quite a bit cheaper than Gillette. I was very pleasantly surprised. Their blades are extremely good, and the post shave balm is amazing, and smells wonderful! It’s easy to change your plan and frequency, and add and remove things, they even e-mail you five days before sending as a reminder. Don’t hesitate, give them a go, this is a quality product!”

“Just got my first set from cornerstone - the Razor handle itself is light but sturdy and looks stylish with my initials on it. The blades are fantastic and paired with their lovely smelling shave gel means a far more comfortable shave than I have had from the previous razor I was using. All this for a fraction of the price. Excellent I am very impressed!”

“I started using Cornerstone well over a year ago, and was very imressed by their product. But being rather cynical, I was dubious when earlier this year, they announced a new style razor and blades, and the discontinuation of the excellent 'old' one. Today, I used the new model for the first time, and have to admit my fears were groundless. Not only is the newer model better to look at, it is better to handle, beautifully balanced, and gave me my best shaving experience, ever! The smoothest shave I have ever had. even down to the 'soundtrack', a rasping noise on the first pass and silence thereafter! Brilliant! Well done Cornerstone!”

“Way better then Gillette. First shave and my skin is way smoother (granted i had few cuts, but only because i'm not used to such sharpness) would definitely recommend to others.”

“I Was pleasantly surprised about the quality, with no real expectations about what was coming, turns out it was the best shave I've ever had (smooth, no drag) I was gonna just get a few then cancel because I got a deal through sweatcoin, but I just like the way they do things, so I got the moisturizer and 6 more blades and honestly can't wait for my next package. They even asked why it couldn't be posted through my letterbox (too big) then sent the next package out in a smaller longer box which was perfect. Feel kind of chuffed for myself for 'finding' them by chance from an app everyone forgot about after a week. Even love the little booklets they send, well done and thank you Cornerstone”
