“So, like with many comparison sites I’m really not interested in free coffees, car washes or vouchers for Halfords, I’d much rather feel assured that the quotes I receive are genuinely competitive and free of gimmicks, strip out the marketing fluff and be more credible.”

“I have used confused.com many times in the past. I received an email from you approximately 1 month before my house insurance was due. You said you had all my details and would send me another email with quotes assuming nothing had changed. I did not receive that email so was getting my own quotes very last minute. Entering most of the data again is very tedious and I was annoyed. No, your email did not go into my spam folder”

“I specified my build by as 'Brick and timber frame' on Confused.com. I very nearly ended up buying a policy which would have been invalid...TWICE. In small print on both insurers websites, it states 'assumptions', which included a build type of 'brick'. I clicked to disagree, and the insurer would not cover my property. This begs the question, how reliable is the algorithm Confused.com? It's meant to make things easier, but it my case, provided a very time consuming and stressful experience. In this review, it asks if I purchased insurance from Halifax. No guys and girls, I didn't, because they do nor insure my property. Another waste of time. Poor experience.”
