“Not as good as it was. I couldn't buy my home insurance direct from the site - I was obliged to just ring the insurance company on a 0330 number and start the lengthy process all over again. No chance I'm being mucked about by that, as the first one - Hastings - had a queue just to answer the phone. Hopeless.”

“I used confused.com as there was an offer to claim a £20 voucher if I took out a policy. I did take out a policy and then went to claim my £20 voucher. Unfortunately the claim process requires the policy number and I have to wait for that to arrive in the post. The policy number was not on the email from the insurance company. I suspect a lot of people then forget to go back to confused.com to claim their voucher. I felt a bit conned.”
