As we are a comparison website, we don’t calculate the prices you receive and these are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. “Nothing wrong with Confused.com's service, rather the less than honest insurance providers not being fully upfront with prices they displayed, as they then offered added them as extras under different names, all of which appeared to be included into he MSE overview. Not super happy with how they did it, but that's where we are these days!”
