The service is so bad I don’t even know if I’m insured or not!!! I have received no confirmation e mail and no payment has yet been taken and it is Impossible to speak to anybody to clarify.

I put all the details in about the property and when I clicked through, the providers were not giving quotes for those details e.g. 3 bed instead of the 4 I had entered. Once corrected I had quotes higher than my current provider. I clicked through to Hastings and changed details there when I checked and twice it asked me to start a new quote

It's very confusing with all the things that are not made clear on the comparison page. What is escape water excess. Are sewers included. So difficult to tell what is and isn't included. So many exclusions.

I saw a quote, saved it, but by the time I'd filled out all the form, with no extra things the price had shot up by £40!

I was pleased with the quote for my home contents insurance and the price was very competitive. However when I contacted the insurance company they asked for information which hadn’t been covered in order for them to quote. When I gave the details the price went up by £90. When I asked how they could give a price without all the information the answer was very vague blaming the price comparison site and they said should I have made a claim on the information given I wouldn’t have been covered and they wouldn’t have paid out. This to me seemed very strange and very unsatisfactory.

Difficult to complete all the relevant questions especially the drop down box referring to extras eg artefacts, jewellery etc. The answer I needed for our extras was virtually impossible to access

You offered very low cost insurance, but quick check as to who the actual insurer was and reviews of the claims handling told me that it would be wrong policy for us. Stayed with current insurer as none of the others could match covers.

under the question "who will be covered by the policy " ? If it is my mother and 24 hour carer, what option to I click on ? The question is confusing and what is the point of the question when I have previously entered the total number or people living in the house ?
