“I tried renewing my car insurance well ahead of time (1 month before expiry). Having looked at all the comparison sites Confused.com appears to offer the “best prices” They display this but when you go to click through to setting up it doesn’t put you through and just remains on a loading screen for ages. In my particular case the cheapest insurance was through Lloyd’s Bank but when you click the link it doesn’t ever move past a loading screen. I then looked on Go Compare and it is slightly more expensive but a very slick process and you can actually click through to the links.”
