I got the insurance I wanted but the rewards system seems a little strange. I eventually got my voucher and filed it for future use and it disappeared. Getting it back seems too complicated if it is possible.,

It’s not so much Confused.com itself which has earned a relatively poor score, although the site crashed the first time and I had to enter all details again which was annoying. It’s just that one of the 3 cheapest quotes, after much back and forth putting in details which were already in my original application for quote on Confused.com, then told me that they wouldn’t insure me. No good reason given. “Computers says No”. So I went onto Moneysupermarket and got insurance at an even better rate from a big name insurer. Confused.com should perhaps review its panel of insurers.

The offers on confused don’t directly match up to what is offered when you go through to the organisations site. As and example on post office site it didn’t give me the same benefits and price as on the confused site, my memory they give me breakdown instead if legal and when I went through and choose what I wanted it increased the price that was advertised on confused. And I couldn’t easily remove the breakdown cover

Prices look good until you add the extras , and I find that sometimes the extras you want are not easy to find . Certainly breakdown recovery as opposed to road side rescue. Maybe because I’m getting on , I find it difficult to navigate some of the sites. What some give others take away, so I find it confusing, and often just give up

I appreciate how Confused.com alerts me to my renewal date far in advance, and keeps on reminding me with the offers they have assembled. I am concerned that not all the suggestions/companies are favourable so it is best not to just go for the cheapest. I prefer one that is available by phone not just with those chatbot things that drive me around the twist. This time I went with one of their suggestions and it seems to be fine so far🤞🏼

The prices at first look very cheap. But as you go through the purchase process there are lots of add ons which bump up the price. My purchase with General Accident could not be done due to a glitch in the payment page.

Very happy with the efficiency of the system and being able to compare at a glance. But when I clicked through to my chosen insurers (AA) the price I was originally quoted if I bought by Aug 1st, it was not honoured… had to pay £40 more for the same product. I don’t know whether this was due to something I did incorrectly? Clearer instructions wld be welcome if so. I intend to contact the insurance company about this.

I was surprised that there were so many add-ons to the top line price for the renewal of my car insurance. I think the site should be a little clearer. I did eventually purchase the insurer recommended but still have a few days to consider whether I want to go forward.

I was quoted a good priced, monthly payment plan that I took. All good and well till I found out they had taken the whole amount that has left me with just over £20 to last me till the end of the month, wish I hadn't bothered now and stuck with who I was with. I won't used this method of finding a decent insurer again

Like all insurers, a grey method of quotes - basically c hardly there cover £££ offer - then by the time you have all detail & features in place many £££ more - please just give us transparent pricing & features
