“I was not very impressed with the effort or depth you go to in terms of your category of modifications. Nor, the response I received in the chat with your Ai when inquiring. Stating that if it's not listed then it is generally deemed not of concern for you generated insurers. Your only out was to recommend the best practice of enquiring with the insurer you choose to be safe. All of your competition however, allow you to list the exact modifications during the quote with them, making this whole process fully transparent and accurate to the quotes as a customer you receive! I initially went down the rabbit hole with yourselves because you were quoting me £200-£300 cheaper than the rest. I was hoping this was because you were just that good but being cynical, I believed it was more likely the case that you are just not as thorough or as well set us as you competitors. I did go with one of your quotes from the AA Paige their customer representative was awesome at her job, in which you gave her more work to do. As she and I during our discussion spoke about my modification that you had nowhere in sight prior to generating quotes. Your whole spiel about if it's not there it likely won't effect your quote price is so very wrong! On your sight, I was quoted something like £289 for that particular policy. However with the amendment that I should not of had to have made in the first place for WHEEL SPACERS. That £289 went up to over £600... It more than doubled! How poor is that? And how much time did I waste because your website info setup is so poor! In the end I went with Compare the Market who quoted me correctly first time and saved me something like £115 on the AA's revised quote. To say I am disappointed in your customer awareness and service would be an understatement.”

“Found the insurance l have been with for some years, it was about £50 cheaper with Confused.com than l had been quoted by my insurance company. I immediately phoned my insurance company and asked why? It was for exactly the same insurance. After speaking to their an agent l was given another £30 off. Thanks Confused.com all in all l got £80 off with the company l been with years.”
