Some common reasons why the price may have changed can be changes to the payment method (monthly vs annually), adding optional extras to the quote or upgrading the cover level to a higher option. I used Confusion.com for car insurance recently and completed the deal from their recommendation through their website. I could not access the reward offered of £20 despite trying for hours both on laptop and the mobile app. I emailed the CC customer service twice, the second time sending details of the provider, policy cert. number and starting date. Nada. Most frustrating. The process should be straightforward and simple to complete. The amount is inconsequential, its the principle. If you are unable to easily deliver such a small incentive why bother offering it??

Here is how to claim your reward after buying car, home, or van insurance: Open the app: Start by downloading or opening the Confused.com app from your device's app store/play store. Claiming: Go to the "Rewards" section, log in, tap "Claim my reward" and complete the required questions on the reward claim form. Timeline: We then need to verify your policy details (like your policy number and insurer). This can take up to 14 working days.
