Very happy with Josh's work regarding my remortgage application. He was incredibly polite, cheerful, helpful and prompt to reply to my emails. He progressed my application the same day and has fantastic work ethic. Andrew was equally helpful in providing me with buildings insurance quotes for my property. Amy was helpful at the beginning but overbearing in the end. I sent Amy an email and asked her not to send several chaser emails to my solicitor on the day of completion in future, as my solicitor already advised my remortgage application was due to complete the same day. It got to the point my solicitor removed Amy from her email chain to me to avoid another back and forth. I had to instruct Amy not to send chaser emails in future. This was not an auction purchase nor was there an onward chain linked to this completion so even if there was a delay it wouldn't come with any financial penalties. I explained all this to Amy via email in the form of feedback and she immediately called me to challenge me and tell me this is what she has been doing for 7 years therefore she's done nothing wrong even though she specifically asked me to leave her a review in her last email. That phone call from Amy in response to my "feedback" as her "client" left a very sour taste in my mouth. I literally said I was going to give a 5 star review and instead of accepting my feedback as an opportunity to improve our working relationship she blew it with that was unnecessary follow-up call that felt very emotionally charged on her part. I'm working with CLS again for a second remortgage application but it will be my last. Whoever is reading this from CLS, please don't assign Amy to manage my second remortgage application please.

Not a great experience for me. Mixups over quotes, not a massive issue on its own, but then I received updates on the CLS portal about a different address, making me nervous my own data elsewhere. Solicitors calling to say they’ve been assigned by CLS, when I hadn’t requested them. Then some hard sell on accompanying insurance. However, I have to say Amy was very good, very helpful and kept in touch from the point she became involved.

Good for finding the mortgage but the moment they had it sorted they started hounding us for payment. We hadn't even received the offer in writing and the accounts department were emailing and phoning. This went on and on even though we still hadn't received the offer. Quite cheeky staff too. Rude and condescending in the way they ask you for information. What could have been a really good experience was ruined by really poor customer service and a ridiculously aggressive accounts department.

We are not happy at all with this service. Not using in the future, due to the many misunderstandings, and lack of commitment in our opinion from this company. Once they got the deal for you, then you are almost left to yourself. We had to pay 2 the mortgage in a month. Also the rate we were promised changed almost at the end when we were checking if that was confirmed. This is not the right approach and they made mistakes along the line that costs us extra money

I first enquired with CLS on September 13th it has taken 19 weeks, £2,000 and a lot of my time chasing CLS and their recommended solicitor to re mortgage a property that had no mortgage on it to start with. What should have been a simple process, was a complete nightmare and very stressful. Communication was poor until the point of completion, meaning I had to follow everything up myself.

Slow in responding, broker never available when I call, I feel like I'm an inconvenience when I call it's a bit of a poor show CLS, sort it out!
