“While I have received a full refund, my sister’s birthday was missed by almost a week on account of the delivery company (Evri) failing to deliver on her birthday and then subsequently when Hampers tried to use a “premium delivery” service (DPD). I think it needs to be understood that the element of surprise on the day of the occasion is more important than the product (hamper) itself. Hence, when you choose a delivery date, which is shown as available, you expect the hamper to be delivered on that date. Whilst I appreciate the refund, I think it is fully justified because I didn’t get the desired effect I was paying for.”

“This was a gift for my sisters birthday. I didn't get an opportunity to select a delivery date. So she has received it very early. Her birthday is 4th August. She was pleased with gift though. I will use your service in the future, as I have in the past. I will wait until a few days before I wish deliver to happen. Thank you.”

“You say that the hamper was delivered today on my specified delivery date, it was not. I ordered the hamper seven days ago and specied a delivery date of a week later as it had to be delivered to one if the Orkney islands. I was surprised to see that you did not dispatch it till two days before the required delivery date as I know from experience that all the courier firms only deliver as far as Aberdeen then pass it to Streamline to ship to Orkney. Once at Kirkwall it is handed to the local haulier, Sinclair Haulage, to deliver to the island. I believe your email stating it has been delivered really means it is with Streamline in Aberdeen and will be at least another couple of days before it gets to the correct recipient. The recipient is disapointed that this gift was not received on their birthday and i believe that you should have dispatched the hamper four or five days prior to the requested date, given the address.”

“My sister was very happy with the hamper, I however paid for the hamper to be delivered on a specific day in the week she was working from home. The hamper was delivered over the weekend, luckily she was home as the hamper contained perishables.”

“With our collective Year 6 cash pot, I purchased 7 hampers from Hampers.com for end of school gifts. They were perfect for the kids' teachers and LSAs! They were incredible quality as well as quantity, I'm so pleased I went with them. I wouldn't have minded one myself, ha!
