I placed an order that was meant to be posted a week ago. I have not received anything so emailed them and received no response to that either. Feeling royally disappointed, I had such hopes. Will go to my bank to see if I can get a refund.

Haven’t been able to use my voucher because there’s not enough ingredients information to let me know if products are gluten free. Wrote to the support email but not had any response

I ordered a replacement Hot Chocolate Shaker as the rubber seal on my first one broke after a hell of a lot lovely chocolately usage (i am not complaining about this as things wear out). My new one arrived and the seal broke on its first use. I wrote to you via your Contact page on the website and I still haven't received a response. Really poor customer service guys

Last time I order from Chocolate Society. I’d decided to order some of my wife’s favourite chocolate ahead of her 40th birthday, picked up a couple of bars. Usually I’m one to resent paying high shipping fees, but looking on the website it states they use DPD who are usually pretty swift. Fast forward 5 days and I’d had no confirmation of shipping, so contacted the company via their webchat. After a day (and on my wife’s birthday) of no response, I decided to email them instead. 4 days later and I’ve had absolutely no response from anyone in customer service, which is really poor. To be late is one thing, to charge a high shipping fee and also be later is another, but ignoring customer support is the final nail for me.

The delivery was never made even when there was heaps of time for a mothers day delivery. Keep on getting that we have missed delivery when it was a safe drop this has happened 3 times now. The chocolates might have all gone bad now. Never had this experience from other chocokate places I have ordered from. I am now going to consider my order a write off.

I bought these for my sister's birthday. They didn't arrive and were delivered next day. O will not use this company again, or recommend it.

Worst customer service ever. My order was never received due to courier error by DPD-was brought to my house on 30.12.21 and courier's scanner did not work. He refused to allow me to keep my parcel and said it would be redelivered the next day. Instead it was sent back to the Chocolate Society. I have used webform, called, and emailed 5 times with NO RESPONSE. I wanted my chocolates but now I want a refund...and I will NEVER use this company again.

Dear Arlene Further to my message yesterday I wanted to give you a call to discuss your recent review. As you will know I have issued you a full refund yesterday, I can also see you have bought from us in the past and I would hope they were good experiences. As a business we give all of our team the time between Christmas and New year off, this is as a result of the hours and weekends our small team work in the evenings and weekends in the run up to Christmas. We had one lady go in for a day to send our seconds that sold on boxing day so we could start the year without a backlog of orders. Yesterday was my first day back in the office and you were on my list to contact to try and understand where the shipping went wrong. I can only apologies how DPD acted and for them not giving you the parcel and then not redelivering the parcel the next day. We have not received the parcel back but will escalate this with DPD. I would hope you can see that we are not deliberately trying not to respond to your emails and it was an unfortunate matter of timing with the holiday break. I would like to send you some chocolates as an apology but will wait to hear from you if you would like this as I do not want to upset you further, With best and apologies. DO not reccomend the HOT CHOCOLATE SHAKER... has arrived, is cross threadded and can not be opened. Also has a rubber top which could taint the flavour of anything being mixed. Also can not ever be cleaned properly. The instructions are within, and as the top can not be opened, can not read them. Very disapointed. Poor quality and can not be used. Do not purchase this product.

Unfortunately my chocolate never arrived to my mum for Mother’s Day! This was probably due to the postal service. I have requested a refund but heard nothing. I won’t be ordering again. Disappointed as I had heard great things about this brand.

Hi Georgina, Thank you for your recent order and I am sorry to read your review. We usually send all our orders via DPD, however for orders such as yours to the Highlands and Islands we have to use Royal Mail. I have looked into your order, and seen it was placed at 7pm on the 10th of March, and we despatched via Royal Mail the very next day. I'm really sorry Royal Mail have not delivered and hope you can see we did everything we could to despatch your order as quickly as we could. I have also checked the email correspondence, and seen that you requested a refund 48 hours ago. Normally we are very quick and speedy to action any problems, however unfortunately all our customer service team are currently picking and packing Easter orders and as such we are slightly behind on replying - I'm really sorry about this. I will issue to refund now and if the chocolates do eventually arrive via Royal Mail I hope your mum can enjoy them too. :) If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know. "My order was delayed because of a quality issue which I appreciated being notified of but when the ordered arrived the quality issue was still present. After Alistair got in contact with me and apologized for the lack of response to my emails and queries as there was a filtering issue with their emails. They were fantastic reaching out to me and correcting the issues and gave a fantastic note and chocolates as a gesture for the inconvenience. The level of service after the fact was phenomenal. Would happily order again and recommend them to others. Thank you very much. We are enjoying the chocolates and now have a few new favorites.

Dear Mr Clarkson, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We send all orders out next day delivery via courier service, as stated on our website this is a signed for service. As there were no delivery instructions on your original order, our delivery company were unable to delivery to your daughter as she was out at work, both days in which they attempted delivery. The couriers are not authorised to leave parcels without instruction. After you raised this issue with us, we sent out a replacement parcel with your delivery instructions, to ensure your daughter received the freshest chocolates, especially as we had been experiencing very hot weather at the time.
