“Good communication about delivery and it was quick. Extra importantly, the products we have ordered so far have been excellent...one of which is the hot chocolate shaker. Impressed!”

“The Chocolate Shaker is really easy to use and definitely makes lovely smooth hot choc. I’ve tried it with choc flakes, powder and chocolate bombs too and all made a great cuppa!”

“Worst customer service ever. My order was never received due to courier error by DPD-was brought to my house on 30.12.21 and courier's scanner did not work. He refused to allow me to keep my parcel and said it would be redelivered the next day. Instead it was sent back to the Chocolate Society. I have used webform, called, and emailed 5 times with NO RESPONSE. I wanted my chocolates but now I want a refund...and I will NEVER use this company again.”

Dear Arlene Further to my message yesterday I wanted to give you a call to discuss your recent review. As you will know I have issued you a full refund yesterday, I can also see you have bought from us in the past and I would hope they were good experiences. As a business we give all of our team the time between Christmas and New year off, this is as a result of the hours and weekends our small team work in the evenings and weekends in the run up to Christmas. We had one lady go in for a day to send our seconds that sold on boxing day so we could start the year without a backlog of orders. Yesterday was my first day back in the office and you were on my list to contact to try and understand where the shipping went wrong. I can only apologies how DPD acted and for them not giving you the parcel and then not redelivering the parcel the next day. We have not received the parcel back but will escalate this with DPD. I would hope you can see that we are not deliberately trying not to respond to your emails and it was an unfortunate matter of timing with the holiday break. I would like to send you some chocolates as an apology but will wait to hear from you if you would like this as I do not want to upset you further, With best and apologies. “I bought my children the hot chocolate shaker for Christmas and it is a huge hit. The chocolate is delicious and it is easy enough for my 11 year old to use (with supervision). The only thing that would make it better is if it could fit two cups worth in.”
