We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“The chocolates were wonderful but sadly I wanted them for Christmas gifts and the shelf life was too short. I didn't realise this at the time of ordering (probably didn't read the small print) anyway had to give them away to hospital nurses and buy Hotel Chocolate ones as Christmas gifts 😩”

We are pleased you thought the chocolates were wonderful and it is a shame that they were bought as Christmas gifts in November. We do try to make it clear on the product page when ordering the shelf life of the chocolates as they are made with fresh ingredients unlike other chocolate companies.

“Love the chocolates but packaging needs to be increased on fragile items because one of my orders came through broken. When I emailed however the problem was solved quickly and the customer service was excellent and I was sent a replacement.”

Hi Holly, Thank you for the feedback on our packaging, we do try to wrap everything up the best we can to avoid any damage during delivery, but unfortunately it is out of our control how it is handled once it has left our hands. “Where Chococo chocolates are always a lovely treat, what of the things I like best is the wide variety of flavours...unfortunately there were lots of repetitions in our box...not very exciting! It was a bit of a disappointment this time :(”

“Chocolates arrived promptly. I was pleased that I could order ahead of time, yet they were despatched later for freshness. the gingerbread caramels were GORGEOUS and enjoyed by all recipients. the two boxes of Christmas chocolates were a disappointment. I thought I'd ordered a milk choc selection but maybe I got confused. I was expecting more deliciously gooey centres, more pralines. the flavours were innovative but not to our taste, I'm afraid.”

We are disappointed to hear your feedback on the delivery aspect of your order. We use Royal Mail for local deliveries and if they are unable to deliver then they should have left a card explaining where & when they could be collected. Thanks, Rich on behalf of the Chococo team

“I bought a large selection box for my friend who said that the packaging and the chocolates were very well presented. However, most of the chocolates that he fancied on 'the menu' were not in the box and some of the more 'unusual' ones were repeated instead, in one case, 3 times! I felt this wasn't great value for money and whilst perhaps you might not be able to include your full selection in this box, it left my friend feeling 'this is what you could of had' and he was left disappointed and wanting the chocs that werent there!! Thanks Jules Jarvis”

“I was surprised not to have received an order confirmation from you, and as my order was a present for an elderly relative I had to contact their family to find out if you had actually sent anything ......Not good for my peace of mind!”

Dear Elizabeth, You should have received both a confirmation email when you placed the order as well as an update when we send the order out to keep you informed, irrespective of whether the order is placed as a gift or not. You can always contact us and we can double check there is no issue with the email address we have in the system for you if you are concerned. Both emails could also potentially have been automatically moved to your junk folder in your email; either way we are pleased that the gift made it to its intended recipient without issue - we hope they enjoyed the chocolates!
