“Dear Chococo, I have enjoyed your chocolates for many years. They were divine, they were handmade and delicious. But I am afraid their order was different. We haven't finished the box. I'm so sorry to say we were disappointed. They are far too sweet, they seem manufactured in a factory and mass produced now. I'm sorry to leave a negative feedback. But that's how we feel.”

“First impressions were looks amazing however was disappointed In the size of the Easter eggs... Spending £15-£19 on eggs I would have hoped for a bigger eggs!”

“Slightly disappointed with this, it was a present for my husband which did come in good time and looked really nice. But I ordered a make your own box and in the vegan collection, but one of the items I chose the chocolate drops wasn't vegan. It didn't actually say vegan when I picked this but I just assumed with it being a vegan collection all of the items would be vegan so unfortunately he couldn't eat them.”

“The chocolates I ordered were nice but I wasn't that impressed that an item from my order was missing. To be fair the issue was rectified promptly by you guys as you sent me a replacement, however I was initially a bit stressed thinking it wouldn't arrive on time for my friend's birthday. Luckily it did. The missing item was part of a 2 for x amt deal and I seem to remember thinking the way this was displayed on your website wasn't that great and that this probably contributed to the missing item not being sent out.”

“The products are excellent, 10 out of 10!! And usually there is a great service. However, on this occasion, the gift wasn’t posted in time to arrive on the requested date, so I’ve had to temper my star rating. I know I didn’t pay for guaranteed delivery, but to post late on a Tuesday when the delivery was requested for Wednesday was never going to work. The gift was a day late for a 20th birthday present.”

“well did not make me happy paid too much for too few salted caramels 4 in total not a good show would rather have done without the fancy design and more salted caramels, also chocolate on the egg to thick.”

“some interesting centres but in most cases the chocolate cases were too heavy and thick especially on the base so that the taste of the chocolate, which was good, overwhelmed the flavours in the centre. they were not in balance. in some cases the chocolate base was 10mm think which is just too much. we had one, the sea salt caramel, where the base and sides were thin and this was perfect. i didn't like the crushed dried raspberries. the flavour was good but the consistency was too dry and unpleasant, and the ginger rush was just boring - a piece of ginger in chocolate is not very inventive or interesting. my usual chocolates are rococco but i bought yours as a result of the review in the FT. it maybe just that your style does not suit my tastes”

Dear Lynn, Thanks for your detailed reply that we have shown to our chocolatiers. We were disappointed to hear that you thought the cases were too heavy & thick as we do work hard to ensure that the shells are thin so we are surprised to hear your comments but we will ensure that we maintain our standards going forwards. Our raspberry and our ginger chocolates have been customer favourites since we started back in 2002 and we do make our truffles by hand so their consistency may differ from those you are used to elsewhere, but we are delighted you thought the seas salt caramel was perfect! Thank you again for your detailed feedback and we hope you will try us again in the future.

“The chocolates were wonderful but sadly I wanted them for Christmas gifts and the shelf life was too short. I didn't realise this at the time of ordering (probably didn't read the small print) anyway had to give them away to hospital nurses and buy Hotel Chocolate ones as Christmas gifts 😩”

We are pleased you thought the chocolates were wonderful and it is a shame that they were bought as Christmas gifts in November. We do try to make it clear on the product page when ordering the shelf life of the chocolates as they are made with fresh ingredients unlike other chocolate companies.
