About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“My egg arrived in too many pieces to put back together, the packing was shockingly poor, and the Royal Mail delivery was random messages advising of delivery and then nothing arriving, arrived 3 days later than they said it would. I do not recommend this company to anyone, I had to send the egg back before a refund would be issued, so another wait in for collection. I felt like a criminal.”

We're sorry that you didn't have the Chococo experience that we would want you to have. We're a small company and we do our best to put things right when things go wrong, but very occasionally even our very best efforts are rejected. We do ask for damaged items to be returned, which is in line with most businesses; if you received a kettle that didn't work, you'd send it back, and you'd probably have to drop it off somewhere as well.

We craft all our chocolates & truffles by hand here at Chococo. We use the finest single origin chocolate blended with local and fresh ingredients wherever possible, and we don't use any additives or preservatives! We hand-decorate and hand-pack in plastic-free packaging. No machines, no robots and everything done by humans.

“Very small for the price. Box arrived and we were shocked how tiny everything was. It was a gift and I had to then buy something else to go with it as it would have looked awful on its own. A shame as it’s a lovely idea.”

Oh, we're sorry to hear this. Our Dorset Chocolate Dinosaurs are an assorted mix of chocolate dinosaur shapes making a fun Dorset-themed treat for you and your little ones. The product weight is shown on the website, so we're not really sure why there would have been any surprise.

“Sadly the Easter egg had too deep and smokey cocoa flavour ,almost meaty/savoury and not sweet nor smooth enough.Being a chocolate devotee and especially of the fine chocolates,I was left a bit disappointed.However I am sure this egg is not reflective of all products.”

Sorry to hear this. We've never had our Dino egg described like this before! It was winner of top marks (5/5) in the Telegraph taste test of the best kids' Easter eggs in 2021, and they described it as deliciously creamy. It's made with 36% Colombia-origin white chocolate and 47% Colombia-origin milk chocolate, so there's plenty of sweetness there. Weird .... I guess we'll have to chalk this one down to personal taste 🐣️🐤️

“Placed two orders one for a subscription box as a gift that arrived beautifully packaged and the chocolates are delicious the recipient is very happy. The other was for a dairy free Easter Bunny that has arrived but not gifted yet. The service was good and delivery fast.”

“The recipient tells me that the chocolate was extremely good for being dairy-free. However, there was clearly an issue with insufficient packaging, the egg was absolutely destroyed by the time it arrived. Not the end of the world but very disappointing for the recipient given how impressive the intact eggs appear.”
